It has been an interesting month for the Emperor's Hammer. Earlier this month saw the replacement of XO/SA Sarin with SA Cyric. Next month's issue will probably carry an official statement from GA Astatine regarding that. For now, I suggest reading Katherine Cantor Flyer's interesting article regarding the events.

Also, on September 10th, the BHG announced their intentions to split from the EH. The official position of the Command Staff, represented in a lengthy statement from GA Ronin, was to accept the split and not add them to the EH enemies list. Ronin stated at the EH meeting of that day, "Unfortunately, through the years the BHG has never been fully integrated into the EH and have always been somewhat of outsiders. Although it pains me to see this apparent split and their need to ally themselves with the rDB who stole our club materials, I have decided to not contest the split and wish them well..."

In terms of this NL itself, the balance of content is much the same as last issue. There is a lot of graphics, some long fictions and some articles. I've picked out a few fictions for the recommended submissions list, but I'd recommend looking at the entire fiction section if possible! There are a number of good fiction submissions this month, including some from Kate Flyer, the resident fiction writer. Thankfully also this month there's an interview with the Tactical Officer, FA Frodo March. I hope you enjoy this issue and I'm looking forward to getting more excellent submissions for NL 111!
