CM Ginji interviews FA Frodo March
<^CM_Ginji> This is Commander Ginji, interviewing Admiral Frodo March, currently EH Tactical Officer… First Off, thanks for agreeing to do this interview.
My pleasure.
<^CM_Ginji> First, a basic question, how did you come about the EH? How or Where did you hear about it?
My Brother, GN Nightmare, was an LT in the Tie Corps at the time, his Squadron was in a bit of a tight spot and he felt like making an easy MoI. So I signed up.

Yeah :P
But I have been playing TIE since I was 8.
so its not like he just dragged me into something I didn't like.
<^CM_Ginji> hehe
<^CM_Ginji> For your whole time before becoming TAC, you served on the 5 DIfferent Ships! What positions have you served and what did you like about some of those positions?
<^CM_Ginji> Now that your the Logistics Officer of the EH, what type of work does the job entail? Is you being the Logistics Officer a difficult thing for you to uphold?

I served on 5 different ships? I count...4
Oh! Van. 5, my bad.
Well, I was CMDR of Krayt, twice, in which I did mostly CMDR stuff. It wasn't easy, probably my hardest job I had to do. My WC was extremely demanding.
Then I was Wing Commander of Wing V, may she rest in peace.

After that I was Intrepid COM for a year, didn't do miracles in the spot but made it a good fun and constant environment.
Then I was in Krayt again, we had the citation record up until Praetorian beat it a few weeks ago.
<^CM_Ginji> I know right
Then I opened Python Squadron on the Vanguard, and then I joined Praetorian. One of the funnest places I've ever been.
<^CM_Ginji> Well, you being my CMDR in Python was a fun time :)
Naturally, I always try to make it fun for the pilots and humor is extremely important at the CMDR level.
<^CM_Ginji> Indeed
<^CM_Ginji> Now that your the Logistics Officer of the EH, what type of work does the job entail? Is you being the Logistics Officer a difficult thing for you to uphold?

Basically, I have to deal with everything that so much as involves a battle or a mission.
From the moment that the battle is submitted, I make sure it gets flown by testers, that bugs are reported
Then, generally, I fix the problems. Or my CA does.
<^CM_Ginji> That;s definitely an important thing, extremely big as Flying is one of the main things pilots do.
Sure is.
I also fix all bugs
and make sure that I get a consistant flow of submissions.
And then theres High Scores and cheaters...
<^CM_Ginji> yup, sure are
<^CM_Ginji> What type of influence do you think that a TAC has on the Emperor's Hammer?
Not as much as one would think
even though its often considered as the "Third in Command", the position is more secluded from the FC and XO.
<^CM_Ginji> each position has it's own thing
<^CM_Ginji> That information semi-surprises me, how secluded do you mean the TAC is from the FC and XO
I don't make any decisions that don't involve flying...basically, my job is a specialty job
You need to know mission creation...
So its not a position everybody can fill competently.
<^CM_Ginji> Which you are a pro at, having made 38 Battles and Free Missions.
well, 35 battles and 3 frees.
<^CM_Ginji> definitely some title to uphold "Ultimate Mission Creator" correct.
And its not secluded from the FC and XO, its secluded from CS in general, and its probably my own fault :P

<^CM_Ginji> You have been in the Tie Corps for almost 5 years! That is a great feat, as many members go AWOL or go to the RSVs after a period of time. Is there something that is there that drives you to continue your service in the Emperor's Hammer?
My lust for more power.

Lots of people
Dengar March would be the first, he was my first CMDR and WC.
Also, former TAC Marcin Szydlowski taught me alot.
<^CM_Ginji> Is that where you changed your name from Frodo to Frodo March?
<^CM_Ginji> Taught you well, he has, as it shows.
I changed it later...when LoTR became a movie, my name wasn't original anymore so I added the last name.
We pretended to be couzins along with my bro.

<^CM_Ginji> WHat is your greatest achievment in the EH? Do you think future TAC's will remember you for this, or maybe people who have once commanded will remember you for?
I think my greatest achievement is cleaning the mission comendium and putting in the 2 week bug coverage rule.
<^CM_Ginji> awesome
Before, when a battle or mission was broken, everybody had to stand the bug for years. Now, two weeks or your money back.
<^CM_Ginji> That is definitely a good rule
Yeah.
