Merit medals are used to give recognition to members who perform well and contribute to the vitality of the Hammer's Fist. Multiple awarding of any medal is valid except where noted in the medal descriptions. Medals listed from highest to lowest.

Order of the Golden Dawn (OGD) The OGD is awarded only by the Prefect. It is awarded to those who inspire others around them to new heights of excellence. It is not to be awarded lightly, as the recipients of the OGD form a fraternity of those who would seek to better and strengthen the Hammer’s Fist.
Imperial Eagle (IE) The Imperial Eagle is awarded by Battalion Commanders and above to members who have proven themselves as a valuable member of not only their individual unit but their entire chain of command.
Hammer's Cross (HC) The Hammer's Cross is awarded by Brigade Commanders and above to members who have performed well above and beyond the call of duty.
Legion of Service (LoS) The Legion of Service is awarded by Company Commanders or higher for either a continued showing of extremely outstanding service in one's position or an especially impressive contribution to their unit.
Cross of Obedience (CoO) Obedience is the single most important virtue a stormtrooper can have. The CoO is a medal designed to allow Fire Team and Detachment Leaders to award outstanding service on the part of their troopers.
