Every issue, Battlecry will run a Magazine flight contest using the following platforms:

• TIE Fighter (Collector's CD)
• X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (with Balance of Power)
• X-Wing Alliance

The competition is open to any and all pilots of the TIE Corps, and you may fly in as many of the three platforms as you wish. Simply unzip the competition file (battlecry-1.zip), then the platform that you wish to play (TFBattlecry1.zip for TIE Fighter; XvTBattlecry.zip for X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter /w Balance of Power; XWA Battlecry1.zip for X-Wing Alliance). Please follow the Readme instructions supplied within file.

Note: to use voices in the X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter mission, you must also unzip XvTvoicesBattlecry1.zip and follow the additional instructions contained therein.

The highest individual scorer in each platform receives a Bronze Star of the Empire; second place a Palpatine Crescent; and third place an Imperial Security Medal.

Pilot files must be sent to the Battlecry Competition Co-ordinator, Vice Admiral Sauron. All pilot files MUST be in to Vice Admiral Sauron by Monday 28th February. Results will be released in the next issue of Battlecry, due for release Wednesday 1st March.
