The Territories

High Moff (HMF) - This is the highest position a member can obtain without stepping into the Ministry Council. These are the elite members of the Directorate who have shown their skill over time and still want to have direct contact with the general membership. High Moffs are responsible for conducting Sector operations and competitions, as well as expanding this to Sector vs. Sector events when applicable. They are expected to be very active and help the leadership with new ways to expand the Directorate and increase the enjoyment of the Directorate membership. The HMF answers directly to the Grand Moff (as well as the Deputy Grand Moff) and is expected to serve well above the general activity and dedication of average members. A High Moff is bestowed with the title of Baron upon appointment and may, through exceptional service, reach the rank of Marquis.

The High Moff is permitted to propose new System Moffs within their respective Sector, but final approval from the Grand Moff is required before the appointment is announced.

System Moff (SMF) - Being an efficient and competent leader is paramount in a System Moff, who is required to spur activity within all units under his influence. The System Moff is in command of the planets in his system and all the people making up those planets. The SMF is responsible for organizing events and competitions between planets in his system. He is also responsible for maintaining a website with information on his system, and reporting all relevant information and announcements from his System to the rest of the Directorate and his peers. The SMF is answerable to the High Moff of his respective territory. The rank of Baronet is given to a System Moff upon appointment, and they may be promoted up to the rank of Count.

The System Moff is permitted to appoint new Governors General within their System, but approval from the High Moff is considered good practice.

Governor General (GG) - The Governor General is responsible for his respective Planet and for the coordination of the Lieutenant Governor and Regional Governors under his command. The GG is charged with keeping up general activity within his planet, creating minor competitions and aiding his System Moff in general System operations. The Governor General is considered the first effective command position within the Directorate. Upon receiving command of their Planet, a new Govenor General is knighted and accepted into the "Knighthood of the Imperial Order;" they may be promoted up to the rank of Viscount.

Lieutenant Governor (LG) - The Lieutenant Governor is the Executive Officer of their respective Planet and serves as the direct assistant to the Governor General. It is considered that incredibly active Regional Governor's will be appointed to this position before moving onto their own respective command to "learn the ropes." The minimum rank to be a Regional Governor is the same as that of Regional Governor - Honorable.

Regional Governor (RG) - The entire responsibility of the Regional Governor is the maintenance and operations of their individual Planetary Region. They are the work-force of the Directorate and are charged with the simplicity of having fun within their activity, contributing to competitions and other operations being conducted by their peers. Regional Governors report to their respective Governor Generals and are considered to be among the most important positions in the Directorate. When first appointed as a Regional Governor, straight out of the Directorate Governor's Academy, an RG will have the rank of Honorable bestowed upon them, with possible advancement up to the rank of Baronet.

Governor-in-Training (GT) - New members to the Directorate will initially be assigned to the Directorate Governor's Academy. Once they have completed a basic examination of Directorate procedures to the satisfaction of the Minister of Education, they will be assigned to whichever planet they wish.
