WC/LC Proton reporting on 2-10-01 for Wing V aboard the SSSD Sovereign:

Proton kicked the TIE pilot helmet across his office and screamed at Snippy, "Get rid of that dirty thing!"
The droid flew into action, grabbing the crunched helmet and shooting out of the office toward a recycling chute.
The disgraced former Mem CMDR's debris safely cleared away following his flight to the reserves, LC Proton relaxed in his command chair.
"Cheee-ah! Nee-ah!" Leroy the jawa chittered, escorting a pilot into the office.
Proton traded salutes with the newcomer, LCM RedTaz, the new commander of Mem.
RedTaz pulled a blaster, wheeled and fired out the office door. The beam struck the helm being carried by Snippy, atomizing the object and causing Snippy to scream and bounce into the bulkhead.
Dude's Tusken raider eyes bulged as he and everyone else stared at RedTaz.
"Clean start," RedTaz said. "Mem 1-1 reporting for duty."

Greetings-
Though I am sure that Focault (LT, Aylin) has already been declared AWOL, I felt that you should have some sort of explanation for his sudden dissapearance.
About two weeks ago, Focault left for a week long dive trip near New Guinea. About two days into the trip, I am not sure how or why- my information is still a bit sketchy on this- he fell off of the top deck of the boat, hitting the side several times as he fell. In the process, he broke his pelvis, both legs, and cracked his skull. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where the doctors decided that the damage was too extensive to repair there, so they shipped him to a hospital in Australia. The dive master, when he informed us that this had happened, did not know which hospital he had been taken to. After about a week of searching, we finally managed to locate him. He is currently drifting in and out of a comatose state, and the doctors are not yet cetrain about the extent of the brain damage caused by the injury. At any rate, he will have to be held immobile for the next three or four months.
If he has not already been declared AWOL, please transfer him to the reserves.
- AD StarLion announces that the TAC Office has released a bunch of new EH missions.
- AD Priyum advises:
* Where possible, please use the automated forms. It simply makes
things easier for both parties.
* When emailing the Flight Office with a request, please provide us
with as much information as possible - namely things like PINs, ID lines etc. For example, if you want to change your name, you have to tell us the new one! (You'd be surprised....)
* When Transfer requests are involved, PLEASE be sure to CC all the
Officers involved. It simply means that they are kept in the loop, and don't find out that they've suddenly lost half their Squadron to another Wing.

- AD Priyum reports: A general reminder, the TIE Corps meeting will
be held at 9PM GMT / 4PM EST on Sunday in #Tiecorps. If you have any news to announce, please make sure you prepare it PRIOR to the start of the meeting.
- HA Kawolski reports: According to the Star Wars Quake: Call of the Force website, the first release will be on Valentine's Day (02.14.01).
The first release is expected to have one or two player models, DM related models, and three maps.

Ok, here's something I came up to smooth over the
IS system:
Iron Star - [Medal Type] Wings (Flying competitions)
Iron Star - [Medal Type] Ribbon (Non-flying competitions)
The medal types are Bronze, Silver, Gold, and
Platnium. (No more Copper or Nickel)
Bronze - Competition involving at least 6 pilots,
2nd place where a Silver IS is awarded, 3rd place/participating
award where a Gold or Platnium IS is awarded
Silver - Wing competition involving 4 or more
squadrons or task units, 2nd place where a Gold or
Platnium IS is
awarded
Gold - Ship competition involving 3 or more
wings/task forces.
Platnium - Fleet competition, medal only awarded
by the Training Officer.
For multi-part competitions, at the Training
Office and Operation Office's discretion, you can
award an IS for
each part.
The Wings have FCHG points attached to them while
Ribbons do not.
