Actually killing something in a TIE Bomber - Priceless
There are some things you can't buy, for everything else, there's the TIE Bomber Nutter Society Card.
Never leave Rome the Vanguard without it.
"Welcome back, Major, I trust you had a great vacation," Ender MBind said as Khadgar came down the Shuttle ramp.
"It's a long story," Khadgar said.
"I love long stories, let's here it." Ender replied.
"Well... It all started after Avenger Squadron's little stint... At the Week of War..."
The enemy TIE Fighter was approaching at full throttle.
I shot a blast, it narrowly missed.
He came up from the right, I turned and fired all the laser blasts I could manage at the incoming TIE.
They all hit dead center, it was all over...
But they had no effect.
Suddenly, the enemy craft was right in front of me, next second I knew, I was dead.
A "Time expiring" was printed on the screen and the simulation ended.
I opened up the hatch and got out to see my opponent.
"That was rather jumpy," Khadgar said.
"Shut up Mr. Lag Boy, you and your stupid "lag" excuse. How I come I never have this lag, huh? I think you just don't want to admit that frankly I am ten times what you'll ever be, Lag Boy."
Khadgar was frustrated with this comment, however, in the interest of "Imperial Diplomacy", Khadgar shot the man with his blaster.
Khadgar went back to his quarters and noticed the Scandoc Transmission terminal flashing red.
"Computer, read message," Khadgar said.
A man in robes appeared in robes...
"Yoooouuuuuu willllll gooooo tooooo theeeeee plaannnnnetttt Altair Khhhhaadddddggaaaarrrrrrr annnnnddddddddd brrrrrrrriiinnnnnngggg alllllonngggggg Crrrrrrrrrrrrazy Arrrrrrtooooo."
"What a strange message!" Khadgar said.
Khadgar messaged Ender, "Sir, I need to go to the planet Altair immediately."
"Why?"
"I don't know, I just have to go, it is one of those plot things, just play along!"
"Oh, fine, meet in Docking Bay 5."
Khadgar walked into the Docking Bay to see Ender MBind standing there.
"Major, I'd like you to have this, I find it helps in sticky situations, it works as a slicer card, and it is something I hold dear."
Ender handed me his TIE Bomber Nutter Society (TM) membership card.
"Wow, thanks sir," Khadgar said, amazed.
"All right, you'd best get going..."
To be continued so that you can't sleep until you've read the next part... You are now under my control until I release the next part... Muhahahahaha!

Major Khadgar just got back from his leave. During the trip he listened to some tapes in which a race from another galaxy, the "You Jong Vong" (or however you spell it) attack. The New Republic from "Corizant" and the Imperial Remnant must defend the galaxy. Of course it all ends in a big loose end... typical...
Scorpion Squadron has closed, unfortinately CPT Raven Arestar has been accused of cheating... We'll see how it goes.
Wasp Squadron opened with a new CMDR, CPT Jdf1984! Congrats Jdf!

Description: "The Wing XV Commander will add a piece of a story to his wing reports, together with a XWA Mission based on that part of the story. Participating Pilots in the wing send in their pilot files of that mission to their CMDRs - including a short written fictional account of their experiences in the mission. The CMDRs check the pilot files, forward the scores, the reports and their own files to the Commodore and Wing Commander and include the best fiction of their squadron in their weekly reports. The best fiction in the wing will be taken up in the wing report, arranged into "propaganda"-type news coverage. Medals are awarded to the best flying and to the best writing but also to outstanding activity like helping to run this competition.
Flying and fiction both influence the story, and so the missions: the Pilots' performance in one mission has consequences on the next mission they'll fly. Making this a true Interactive Battle with a flexible story line, centered around the ISD Vanguard and it's Squadrons."
Status: The first turn winner were rewarded, Ender said he will do the ViB related things in his COM Report. We are in need of XWA Mission designers, contact Ender MBind if interested.
