2.25.2001 - AD Kermee
Greets,
This week sees a return to uni for me in about 12 hours, which will mean a lack of IRC time but this should hopefully translate into an increase in time for some other things, such as scripting & news finding.
1. New Slicing Forum: As a part of the updated SCO web page, I've had HA Kawolski set up a Slicing Forum in the tiecorps.org message board system. This forum is intended as a place for any questions and discussion related to ship editing, game editing, programming etc. Feel free to stop by and ask questions anytime, both myself and CA:SCO/VA Den Darkhill will be checking over the forum regularly and all questions that can be answered will.
2. SCO Web Page: The scripting is finished, the content is mostly these & the design is coming along. While I'm sure it doesn't look like it as most of the improvements are behind the scenes, a lot of work has gone into tightening up the scripting and making it much quicker to make updates. I've got a few more updates to make, though the core up it is now up. For further updates, see the news page.
3. Updated Patches: I've updated the TIE Praetor, TIE Guardian & TIE Dragon patches for XWA to use the new 2.1 install allowing them to be installed alongside each other and other patches without any problems. Also, the MC-90 has been updated with a version of the OPT now that its author has come back from a long period of net absence. I'd like to thank JM for allowing us to use his great OPTs.
4. Fleet Manual: So far we're up to 214 pics with a number more sitting in my inbox to be reviewed shortly. I've also sorted out rewards for people who've assisted and will be sending in the recommendations as soon as the project is completed. Also I'll be porting over a few bits of scripting from the SCO web page to help make data entry for the next phase go much quicker.
