G'day Tartarus squad, fellow CMDRs, Cyric,
Brucmack and everyone else, and welcome to my fourth Tartarus Squadron report.
As a bit of fore-warning, I am now letting you know that I will be taking a few
days of leave from my CMDR duties, commencing 10th of Feb. This is almost a week
away, so no need to panic just yet. The good news is I am right now actually on
holiday from my other job (the one I do when I'm not being an officer in the TIE
Corps), so I have some extra time for my favourite pilots (yes, that's you
Tartarus squad).
Next week my report will be sent in a bit early on account of my
leave.

I announced results of Tartarus Squadron Comp 01. Congrats to
Wes Janson, the recipient of a shiny new Iron Star - Copper Ribbon. Well done
to all!

Seeing as though we've finished that one, let's have another
comp! Tartarus Squadron Comp 02 has been announced earlier this weekend! Get
busy my beautiful pilots!

There has been, once again, significant changes in the flag
officer structure in the ASF. The pilots of the Grey Wolf can hold their
heads high. Khadgar and Brakka, both seasoned leaders from the Grey Wolf have
become the Wing Commanders of wings XV and XIV respectively. Congratulations
and good luck to them!

Khadgar was named by VA Cyric as the COM Protector for this
month. Another congratulations to him. :)

Things are starting to happen on the Tartarus Squadron Message
Board. It is there for all of you, so go to http://www.tiecorps.org/mb/view.asp?b=36&v=0&s=1 and
dream up something to say. Plus, you don't want to miss out on any gossip do
you? -
Big changes to our roster. We lose two pilots this week to the
reserves, LT Kir Katarn and CPT Vengeance. It's always sad to see a pilot go.
I wish them well in whatever they pursue in the future. In nicer news, LCM Wes
Janson has been elevated to CMDR of Valkyrie Squadron! Congratulations mate.
LT Leslaw is now the Flight 3 Leader.

LC Woobee - I flew TC-TIE 069. Yep, that's the battle for the
Tartarus Squadron Competion 01. I also flew IW-XvT 17 again, so I was in the
Tartarus Comp for both battles. I also worked with Leslaw in playtesting his
new custom XvT battle! (It's good, and exciting). Leslaw and myself are also
working together on website improvements this and next week. I got a FCHG rank
promo to Knight as well. Yahoo for me!

LCM Wes Janson - Much chatting on IRC. Submitted numerous
battles to me! TC TIE 7,13, 16, 20, 21, 26, 30, 69, 106, 127, plus IW XvT 17
(and got high scores on the TC database)! Great week Wes! You participated in
both sections of the Tartarus Squad Comp 01. Thanks mate! Also won that IS-cr
from the Tartarus comp 01, plus reports having scored in online comps 2 DFC's,
13 LoC's, 1 MoI. Oh yeah, and got promoted to Valkyrie CMDR. :) Congrats and
good luck!

LT Leslaw - Much chatting on IRC. Results came in for your
mIRC/1/2, and IIC/1 IWATS course. Submitted TC-BoP 1, 2, 3, IW BoP 14,
Free XvT 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18. VA Cyric awarded
him a ISM for running up in the COM Protector awards this month. More work on
his excellent custom battle, and helping me with our website..
