SQUADRON NEWS
Lots of activity going on in the squadron this week! I appreciate everyone's dedication to bringing things back on track after the treachery of last week.
BIG NEWS this week as LCM RedTaz was promoted to CM and appointed as CMDR of Mem! He will missed around here big time, but I was all for him going! :)
LT Kadath L'Hoon has been appointed as the new FL for Flight II! I'm expecting even greater things from him now that he's moving on up the command ladder!
Special thanks to LT Kadath L'Hoon for helping to redesign the Samekh site! It's really coming together and looking great!

WING NEWS
LCM RedTaz was promoted to the rank of CM and appointed as the new CMDR for Mem Squadron! Welcome to the command level CM RedTaz!
LT Kettch was promoted to Flight Leader of Flight 3 in Sadhe! Congrats LT!
HEAVY ROCKET RUMBLE:
Competition Chairman: WC/LC Proton/Wing V/SSSD Sovereign

Pilots will engage in several competitions this month in an event intended to generate a lot of fun for everyone in Wing V.
Each pilot may participate in any or all events. Medals will be give in each catergory, and consideration also will be give to an overall champion who does the best in multiple categories.
The contest begins on Feb. 1st, and ends on Feb. 28th. Pilots are to send all entries to LC Proton at Hullbreach@aol.com. Make sure to CC: your CMDR on your entries, as he may need to enlist their assistance in gathering any last minute stray results at the end of the month. The CMDR's will also need to see your entries for activity tracking for their reports and to file appropriate BSFs.
CATEGORIES:
1. Flight - Fly TC-TIE Battle #128, "Operation Yridia Alpha". Laserless scoring is in effect. Winner will receive the Iron Star - Bronze Ribbon, and the runner-up will receive the Iron Star - Copper Ribbon.
2. Mission Creation - Create a TIE, XvT, or XWA mission or battle. Missions MUST in some fashion include these elements in the plotline: Wing V and Heavy Rockets. Winner will receive the Iron Star - Nickel Ribbon, and the runner-up will receive the Iron Star - Copper Ribbon.
3. Fiction - Write stories that include the elements of Wing V and Heavy Rockets. Serious and humorous entries will be accepted. All appropriate submissions will be collected and included in the Wing V Chronicles. Winner will receive the Iron Star - Nickel Ribbon, and the runner-up will receive the Iron Star - Copper Ribbon.
4. Graphics - Wing V could use some new banners. We are primarily a Heavy-Assault and Assault Wing, so pilots should create full-size or link banner(s) featuring Wing V, and some form of Heavy Rocket involvement. Be creative! Winner will receive the Iron Star - Nickel Ribbon, and the runner-up will receive the Iron Star - Copper Ribbon.
5. Invite a Cadet - The Wing V pilot who invites the most involvement from the M/PLT Daedaleus Cadets as guests in this contest may be recommended to receive the Medal of Instruction. During your recruiting communications with the Cadets, mention this competition to them, and invite them to participate as a training bonus. Cadets are not eligible for the main awards unless they become active members of Wing V during the contest period. In this case their submissions will be considered for the awards. In any case, this will be a great experience for the Cadets and give them a real taste of what active duty will be like!
6. Heavy-Rocket Rumble Champion - The overall winner will receive the Palpatine Crescent for general excellence! - WC/LC Proton

Flight Officer Admiral Theodore is hanging up Command Staff position badge to retire to tend more time with his family and newborn, but he'll stay on board as our Imperial Counsel.
All roster changes and such inqueries should go to the Command Attaché, Admiral Priyum.

The last month has seen a rapid acceleration in the graduate rate from IWATS. In the last month, over 400 graduates were processed, currently setting the total around the 6500 mark. EH in January XWA Week of War

EH wins it's first BattleStats Week of War medal (first BSC medal period).
Special congrats go to pilots Colonel Dras Hempor/Immortal and Major Brucmack/Grey Wolf for bring this medal home to EH.
