Squadron News
A difficult week for myself and Sadhe Squadron. Firstly we said goodbye to LCM XReder (We Salute you X!) and the unfortunate disgrace of having a cheater amongst us. LT Axis was charged and expelled for cheating, something that the EH and myself do NOT tolerate.
As i said in my email to Sadhe and WC Proton, i do accept some of the blame because of not spotting him myself, and this week i can very close to resigning altogether as i have experienced this before and it seemed this was the last straw, i felt like giving up because to me, cheating is the lowest of the low, i cannot understand why any pilot should do this, it not only brings dishonour to the Squadron, but the whole wing and the Empire.
But after some kind words from friends and colleagues i serve with and with the words from WC Proton, i will not be leaving you, so i`m afraid your stuck with Old SickMan for some time to come, i plan to stand against this dis-honour, and bring the name of Sadhe and Wing V back to the fore-front of the excellence we have all tasted.
With each one of you helping we can blast back to top were Wing V belongs:)

Wing V February contest!
"Heavy-Rocket Rumble"
Pilots will engage in several competitions this month in an event intended to
generate a lot of fun for everyone in Wing V.
Each pilot may participate in any or all events. Medals will be given in each
category, and consideration also will be given to an overall champion who
does the best in multiple categories.
The contest begins on Feb. 1 and ends Feb. 28. Pilots are to send all entries
to me at EHProton@aol.com. Make sure to CC: your CMDR on your entries; I may
need to enlist their assistance in gathering stray results at the end of the
contest. They also will need to see your entries for activity-tracking
purposes and to file appropriate BSFs.
CATEGORIES
1. Flight. Fly TC Battle 128, "Operation Yridia Alpha." Laserless scoring in
effect. Winner: Iron Star-Bronze Ribbon. Runner-up: IS-Copper
Ribbon.
2. Mission creation. Create a TIE, XvT or XWA mission or battle. Missions
MUST in some fashion include these elements in the plotline: Wing V and heavy
rockets. Winner: Iron Star-Nickel Ribbon. Runnerup: IS-CR.
3. Fiction. Write stories that include the elements of Wing V and heavy
rockets. Serious and humorous entries will be accepted. All appropriate
submissions will be collected and included in the Wing V Chronicles. Winner:
Iron Star-Nickel Ribbon. Runnerup: IS-CR.
4. Graphics. Wing V could use some new banners. We are primarily a
heavy-assault and assault wing, so pilots should create full-size or link
banner(s) featuring Wing V, and some form of heavy-rocket involvement. Be
creative! Winner: Iron Star-Nickel Ribbon. Runnerup: CR.
5. Invite a cadet. The Wing V pilot who invites the most involvement from PLT
Daedalus cadets as guests in this contest may be recommended for a Medal of
Instruction. During your recruiting communications with cadets, mention this
competition to them -- invite them to participate as a training bonus. Cadets
are not eligible for the main awards unless they become active members of the
wing during the contest period; in these cases, their submissions will be
considred for awards. In any case, this will be great experience for the
cadets and give them a real taste of what active duty will bring. Note:
Pilots will receive credit for a cadet's involvement only if the cadet
includes the pilot's ID line with his submittals to me.
6. Heavy-Rockey Rumble Champion. The overall winner will receive a Palpatine
Crescent for general excellence.

Yearly Comp. Scoring:
3 points for the pilots with the highest score for the weeks battle/mission.
2 points for 2nd highest.
1 point for 3rd highest.
1 point awarded for exceptional work on other areas such as webpage design or submitting fiction or just having a exceptional week of flying by earning lots of FCHG points.

We had a grand total of 0 entries for the past week`s battle (TC-TIE#9) and so i`ll be running this battle for anthor week.
This weeks battle is again TC-TIE#9, pilot files to me by next Friday.
