2.18.2001 - LC Firebird
Pilots of Koph Squadron:
Well kids, I'm still here :P
I decided to wait a few days on this report because on Wednesday there
wasn't anything interesting to put in it. It looks like waiting was
the right thing to do, because now I have good news to report! Yay!
Medals! Congratulations to LT Canta Jade on earning her Letter of
Achievement. Congratulations to me for earning a Commendation of
Loyalty as well as a Letter of Achievement.. I'll buy a round in the
cantina ;)
Flying! LT Clegane submitted 4 TFRs for me last night, way to go! LC
Iceman also submitted two, both of which earned high scores.
Competitions! Keep in mind that our competition with Zayin Squadron
starts on February 21st. I'll send mail out on the 21st as a reminder,
but we'll only have a week. I'd like to get scores all in by the 27th
if possible; the absolute deadline is midnight on the 28th, PST. The
FREE-TIE to fly: #130. I have a shiny new "Koph is my Daddy!" banner I
want to be able to send them when we win on the 28th, so make it a
good one :)
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for. This week, LT
Clegane holds on to the Koph Ace again. It was a tough decision
between Iceman for still being enthusiastic and supportive even though
he wants my job, and Canta Jade for promising to fly in the upcoming
competition despite being ill in real life, but I have to give it back
to Clegane for getting the flying done.
I know Canta Jade has been supplying our valiant XO with trivia for
SureFire during the meetings, but if anyone else is being active
outside of Koph, please let me know about it so I can include it in
the reports. All activity counts here, but no activity counts if I
don't know about it :)
