Koph Squadron
Report #22
2.1.2001 - LC Firebird
Pilots of Koph Squadron:
One of these days I'll get a report out on time. I promise :P
Quick update on the status of the Cyclone rematch: Cyclone is
currently without a CMDR. I'll keep an eye out and wait till they get
one, and the instant s/he takes command, we'll challenge them.
Quiet week this week. It's the calm before the storm. Latest word from
LC Joe is our upcoming Wing competition starts March 1st. I'll try and
get the Cyclone rematch in before then.
Until then, keep those TIEs in good condition. Please be sure to keep
in touch with me so I know you're still alive and active. If you're
doing things outside of the squadron, I'd love to know about them. To
you Lieutenants, the key to being promoted is to let your CMDR know
what you're up to. Flying is not the only way to be active; everything
counts.
Recruiting! All we need is one more pilot, folks, before we can start
earning squadron citations again. With the loss of CPT Mauser we have
suffered a major setback towards citations, but with another pilot we
can still pull it off. Get out there and send some emails to the
cadets :)
Congratulations to LT Canta Jade for earning an ISM from the XO
himself! She has been writing trivia for the weekly meetings on IRC,
and by all accounts is doing a fabulous job. Keep up the good work,
Lieutenant!
Finally, the Koph Ace of the Week goes to LT Sandor Clegane, for being
active right from the start. It was a very tough decision between all
our LTs this time, but to be honest I think an ISM from HA Kawolski
speaks for itself.
