2.4.2001 - CM Osan'gar
Greetings all and welcome to another addition of the
Hey squadron report.
SQUADRON NEWS
----------------------------------------
- The XWA league CR#2 finished with Hey having three
entries for this latest round.
The final scores looked like this
1. CM Osan'gar - 5963
2. LT Dan Jenkins - 4298
3. LT Josh Popelka - 4159
Total = 14420
Participation = 50% (Would be CRT 1)
I received a Golden TIE for getting the highest score
from Hey for this round.
- A new competition with Falcon will start tomorrow
which will run until the 18th of February. This means
that we have plenty of time to all compete and get
good scores. The top three scores from each squadron
will be averaged, so as well as good participation, we
need to get good scores if we are to have a hope of
beating Falcon.
The mission to fly is FXWA 12 and the top scorer will
receive an IS-CR. Also the top scorer from Hey will
get a Golden TIE.
- While we are on the subject of Golden TIEs, LT Josh
Popelka currently has 4 TIEs, and only needs more to
get a Golden Missile Boat. However, I want some more
TIEs so Josh, you better watch out because I want to
win the TIE on offer for the HvsF comp.

- A big welcome to SL Wes Combat who has recently been
assigned to Hey squadron from Daedalus. Remember Wes,
you can easily be promoted to LT by flying a
battle/mission or completing you INPR. With the
arrival of SL Wes, we now have four citations again.
Lets try to get a few more, so if everyone could try
to fly battles so that we can get some more citations.
- The Wing III IS comp finished and LCM Mayk Wolverine
of Aleth won with a huge high score. LT Josh was the
only entrant from Hey and gets a Golden TIE for his
troubles.
Our CRT level dropped by one this month so we now only
have a CRT level of three. After the HvsF comp I may
ask GN Sasquatch for a new CRT. Would everyone be
prepared to fly a full battle or should we test with a
mission again?

WING NEWS

- Wing membership is rising and we are up to 32
members. Welcome back to Wing III LT Dark Angel and LT
August Gladius.
- The Aleth mailing list is really screwed and when I
checked my mail yesterday morning, my inbox was full
and I had around 250 Wing III reports in my inbox.
When you add these to the 150 I deleted on Friday
night, I got about 400 reports in total and to stop
then from destroying my fragile Yahoo account, I
blocked off Jaster's mail address. When the mailing
list has stopped screwing up, would someone tell me so
I can unblock Jaster's mail address.
- The Wing III mentoring program is about to start up
again headed by CM Cray Mikalen of Beth Squadron. Cray
is also the Wing's doctor and as I am the nurse, I
will be helping to run this project. More news on this
as it reaches me.
- The Wing III IRC meeting was last night and there
was quite a good turnout (compared to normal).
However, the times probably will change before next
week, and when the new times have been decided, I'll
mail you all with the new time and day.
- Read Sas' wing report on Wednesday. Notice how I had
some news to put in the Wing news section this week :)

ISD Colossus Commodore named
09:27 - AD Theodore [theodore@tiecorps.org]
Former WC, now RA Troutrooper, has been promoted to
the Commodore position aboard the ISD Colossus. Many
qualified people applied to VA Jarak and myself, but
TT has been entrusted with the task of returning the
COL to her recent glory. Thank you all and goodluck
TT.

Just a few reminders from the Tactical Office
regarding BSF's:
- Players are allowed to skip 1 mission per battle. If
gameplay errors would force you to skip 2 or more
missions, stop playing the battle and inform the
Tactical Office immediately. BSF's with more than 1
mission that has been skipped will be denied.
- While sharing information about a battle is not
prohibited, sharing your pilot files IS. If you are
found to be sharing pilot files, you will find
yourself (And the person you shared it with) brought
up to the HCI for cheating.
- CMDR's and above: If a pilot has skipped a mission
in a battle, you MUST check the "No High Scores" box
on the BSF form.
- Audits: You have 1 (one) week to supply the
requested Pilot file for an audit. If you do not
within that time, the BSF will be automatically
denied.
Questions concerning pilot files or the BSF system
should be directed to Admiral StarLion
