Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: Raised as the second child of the powerful Margul family on Chandrila. Close political friends of the Mothmas, the Margul family holds many political offices on Chandrila and throughout the pre-war Imperium. Margul Industries, the family's main business, is also one of the more successful galactic conglomerates. Willem, being the second born son behind his elder brother, Petr, was trained for a life in politics, while his brother was groomed to takeover the company upon his father's passing. From an early age, Willem was educatd by a multitude of private tutors on all sorts of languages, cultures, etiquettes, public speaking, and everything pertaining to politics and negotiations, as well as a solid grounding in all other academic subjects. Learned how to fly and shoot from his ex-mercenary uncle Remus, the "black sheep" of the family. Remus taught him and his brother side-by-side how to fly craft both spaceborne and atmospheric, as well as how to shoot, spy and command in the field.

Significant Events of Adulthood: As Willem reached adulthood, he suddenly found himself cast into a new role. Petr had suddenly disappeared one night, for reasons only Willem's father seemed to know. Immeadiately, Willem was cast into corporate studies, working over time to learn twenty years of corporate procedure and law in only several. Shortly after the destruction of the 2nd Death Star, on Willem's birthday, Petr returned. It was then that he revealed to the entire family what he had done. He had joined the Rebellion Starfighter Corps, and was now a Colonel, well on his way towards General. While his father and two younger siblings eagerly supported him, both Willem and their mother (a longtime Imperial supporter) strongly criticized his choice. The night before Petr's departure back to the Rebellion, Willem and him quarreled for hours over the future of the galaxy, and which side would be the best for that future.

Alignment and Attitude: Willem, being educated extensively in the law, is a very moral, legally-concerned person. He has serious qualms about breaking the law, even if such an action would ultimately be for good. He strongly favors the Empire and the strong laws and order that it brings with it.

Former Occupations: None, but trained heavily for roles as a lawyer, diplomat, businessman, politician, pilot and soldier.

Hobbies: Writing to his family, reading new novels on his datapad, watching the latest HoloVids from home.

Tragedies: After his 18th birthday, Willem, despite the objections of Petr and his father, chose to join the Empire. Because of this, while he is closer to his mother than ever, he has effectively severed contact with his older brother and father.

Phobias and Allergies: Allergic to certain organic compounds usually found in grass and water on more swampy worlds.

Personal View of the Empire and EH: Believes that, while the Empire is not perfectly good, that the order and stability it brings to a dangerous galaxy is worth the price. He believes that strong laws are needed to govern the galaxy, and feels that a Republic would be too weak, both in that it could not control rogue elements and infighting, and that it would lack a strong military needed to combat outside threats.

Reason for enlisting in the EH: Sought to counteract his brother's deeds. He hopes that by joining the EH and making a name for himself like his brother, he can possibly overshadow his brother, and ultimately prove his actions wrong.

Other Comments: In personality, Willem is the typical Imperial officer/pilot. Coming from nobility, coupled with his piloting profession, he is somewhat prone to looking down on those whose rank is below his own. He is supremely confident in his piloting abilities, essentially to the point of smugness. While he is smug, vain and egotistical, he still has a sharp, well-trained mind, something that his opponents occasionally forget to consider. He is cool and smug in almost all situations, with the one exception possibly being the mention of his brother or father. At any mention of them he grows red with anger and either walks away, or refuses to say anything more.
