Quote: "If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself but
to your own estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment."
-Eon'rand'al'thor'sir, Second Vrensetii Quzand (Sear,nor,ka).
Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: Born into a noble family considered by most to be undeserving of the title, he grew up being oppressed by those around him. Still, his family was noble, if barely so, and he received the best education any Chiss could receive. He was looked down upon by his peers until the age of twelve, when his small school (attended by the children of the sixteen noble families, excluding that of the Emperor) was visited by Sreia'riend'la'tar, commander of the Emperor's naval forces, on a lecture concerning tactics. Sitting in that small classroom, listening to who many people considered to be, as High Admiral and head advisor to the Emperor, the most powerful man in the Chiss Empire, he could no longer resist the urge to speak.
"Rear Admiral Krit'rim'sein, disobeying my orders, brought his crenthan around to .714 by .693 and ordered his treinaars around to .328 by 912 to flank the enemy vessel, as you all know, this maneuver failed. If he had done as I ordered, and capped the opposing ship's "T"s he would have destroyed the vessel, opening up the way to obliterate the rest of the enemy fleet-"
"Sir, with all due respect, that is incorrect-"
He had cut off under the gaze of the High Admiral, but when he saw that the admiral's eyes bore only curiosity, and not anger, continued, "If the crethan had maneuvered to bring his side guns to bare on the enemy ship, it is likely that the opposing Admiral would have rotated his own ship, bringing his port guns to bare, and, since the accursed sry'trin is known to have more port guns then the crethan, the Rear Admiral's ship would have surely been destroyed."
"Then what would you have done, E'sir", the High Admiral said, contracting his name to make it clear that, while he found Eon'sir's comment to be interesting, he still thought of him as inferior, in status as well as intelligence, and would not bear much more of this.
"It is simple, sir. You send your lighter ships to feint at the enemy sry'trin and order your heavier ships to carry out a microjump to the edge of the system. Then you pretend to have your smaller ships retreat also, having them run away from the sry'trin, and when the sry'trin, with is slower speed, orders its support ships to go after the retreating vessels, you send the heavier ships, excluding the crethan to flank the sry'trin and its escorts, have your 'retreating' ships turn back and go after the incoming ships head on, and then jump your crethan in behind, and have it bare its broadside guns to the sry'trin. Then you have them boxed in and you can slaughter their fleet."
"Hmm," the High Admiral said, rubbing his blue chin. "Class, you may be excused, I will talk to Eon'sir in private."
The class filed out and Eon'sir, a twelve year, was left alone with High Admiral Sreia'riend'la'tar, a man who was second in the galaxy only to the Emperor. “Young man, do you realize that you just proposed a solution that hasn’t been thought of by the greatest minds in the entire Chiss Empire?” He paused for a moment, before going on, “Did you ever consider a career in the Navy?”…
After that Eon’sir was taken out of the school and was given private lessons on ground, air, and space combat, sabotage, espionage, as well as hand to hand combat. He was also was taught much on art, science, and math, as all future-Chiss leaders were. Excelling in tactics as well as private combat, he was placed as Commander of the Emperor’s Royal Guard, and was authorized to add to his name. He became Eon’rand’sir. Three months later the Emperor’s flagship, Crien’shar, and its escorts, were attacked by a group of Kriendlan Sry’trin. During the battle the Commodore’s uniform caught fire from sparks caused by incoming turbo-laser fire and burned to death. Eon’sir took command of the group of ships and turned the seemingly apparent defeat into a victory. He was then transferred from Head of the Guard to Fleet Admiral and placed in command of the Shrien’lie’near, one of only four Riendtar, the most powerful class of ship in the Chiss fleet, and as when he took command of the Royal Guard, added even more to his name, now being Eon’rand’al’sir.
Significant Events of Adulthood: Five years later, now twenty-one and on patrol at the edge of Chiss territory, his ship was attacked by three Imperator-class Star Destroyer, one Victory-class Star Destroyer, and two Modified Nebulon-B Frigates. He defeated all three, though lost his entire star fighter compliment in the process, and limped back to the core of Chiss space. He reported to the High Admiral, expecting to be reprimanded, and was rewarded for his “fine service”, being authorized to add yet another syllable to his name, which now became Eon’rand’al’thor’sir. Even though the High Admiral was impressed, it was part of Chiss doctrine not to engage Imperial Ships. What the Chiss knew about the Empire suggested their might at close to the Chiss’s own, and the Emperor did not wish to risk a war. As such he was demoted to the rank of Rear Admiral and his command striped, and he was placed in command of an aging Viernor. Not long after a patrol of Imperial ships once more encountered his, but instead of attacking they requested to speak to the Commodore. Once aboard the ship they informed Eon’rand’al’thor’sir that their leader, Emperor Palpatine, had heard of his victory and wished his service as Military Advisor. Eon'rand'al'thor'sir contacted his superiors and informed them of the request and was instructed to go with them. They had yet been able to infiltrate a spy into the upper ranks of the Empire, due to Palpatine's prejudice against non-humans, and saw this as a chance to do so. He accepted transport from the Imperials and was taken to Coruscant in secret. For three years he served as Military Advisor, in secret, to Emperor Palpatine, and upon Palpatine's death he, instead of taking the path of a warlord, fled to the outerrim where he had planned to head back to the Unknown Regions. He was unable to make contact with his superiors, however and eventually made his way to Aurora Prime and joined the Emperor's Hammer, enlisting in the Naval Corps and becoming a Dark Jedi.
Alignment and Attitude: He is, unlike many members of Noble Families in the Chiss Empire, good natured towards those around him. A stark contrast to the overbearing nature of the stereotypical ship commodore, he is willing to listen to the advice of his crewman, as well as his fellow commodores, and, in fact, all those around him. He is always eager to learn about the nature of other races--the better to defeat them in battle. He tends to be sarcastic in many circumstances, but can be deadly serious when the situation warrants it. Overall he is kind and attempts to help those around him when possible.
Former Occupations: Chiss Nobal, Commander of Chiss Royal Guard, Chiss Commodore, Military Advisor to Emperor Palpatine
Hobbies: Reading, studying artwork and literature, writing, fencing.
Tragedies: When the Ssi-ruuk attempted to invade Chiss space they were repelled, but it took some time, and the enemy captured and enteched many Chiss. Among them was Lili'crin'sir, the wife of Eon'rand'al'thor'sir.
Phobias and Allergies: none
Personal View of the Empire and EH: He views Emperor's Hammer as an orginizations that brings order to chaos and shapes the galaxy as well as those in it.
Reason for enlisting in the EH: After Palpatine's death he was unable to make contact with his superiors and therefore could not travel back to Chiss space. After a time he decided to join Emperor's Hammer.
Other Comments: Don't try to be a great man, just be a man.
