ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES:
CM Xander Dras has transferred back into Zayin Squadron- welcome back!!
AWARDS/PROMOTIONS:
LT Furbo (Zayin) has been awarded a Commendation of Bravery.
LCM Bernie, CM Gavin, LCM Hawky, LCM Michael Perry and LT Liz of Teth have all been awarded Commendations of Bravery.
GN Ricardo has been awarded the Order of the Vanguard Third Echelon.
WING NEWS:
1) Okay.. another hectic week :| I have recieved my new computer.. but I need a USB joystick, or a sound card I can plug my current one into before I can whip the heck out of all you guys in XWA and JK :p If anyone wants to play me in Starcraft.. let me know :)
2) I have chosen a Zayin CMDR, and he should be appointed soon.
3) I will start a Wing IV comp.. and Teth is even invited :p I'll announce the details soon, and the award will be a brand-new Iron Star medal!
4) Congrats to LT Diablo, the new Wing Commander's Honor Guard! He will fight CM Keiran of Kaph Squadron :)
5) Oh, and yes, I've now been in the EH for 3 years, as of last Thursday ;)
SHIP/FLEET NEWS:
1) From COM/FA Kramer:
Every month I review squadrons for the COM's Own award, and most of the time I withhold it for one reason or another. This month, I was going to award it to Sigma Squadron of Wing II, but decided that the continued level of excellence the pilots of Sigma exhibit deserves a higher honor than COM's Own.
Congrats to Sigma!
2) The IWATS Core course just passed two thousand graduates (2,000), making it still the most successful IWATS course ever. The next closest course in terms of graduates is mIRC/1 with nearl 900. The IWATS Core graduates form roughly 32% of the overall IWATS graduates.
