Sovereign Squadron League 2000 Semifinals
The other day upon the stair
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish that man would go away!
Wolly has fallen asleep at the wheel of the SSL 2000. He promised us a
mission two weeks ago, and true to form, he has flaked. I find this very
puzzling, because of the four non-Wing X squadrons in the final eight, most
are excellent squadrons with a very good chance of advancing to the
finals.
Is Wolly too embarrassed to finish the SSL because he is afraid to have the
Challenge beat a Sovereign Squadron again?
Supreme Squadron Series
Ace Pilot seems to have given up on this with Inferno in the lead. I am
very
happy to accept the title on behalf of my squadron, if only he would
officially call the competition.
Wing X Squadron Uniform Patches
Over a year ago, Typhoon was the only wing X squadron to have their patch
listed at the Operations Office. I copied the general layout to create an
Inferno patch, and then used it again to create the official Cyclone
patch.
Now I have created new patches for both Thunder and Tempest which follow
the
pattern of the other squadron patches. Only Tornado (which has a cool
patch
to begin with) was left alone, except for the creation of a female uniform
optimized patch. Now I submit to you all a complete collection of patches
for all Wing X Squadrons, for both genders. All are official except for
Thunder and Tempest. We only await the approval of the Squadron
Commanders.
Miscellaneous
CMDR/COL Mell of Cyclone has had to go on leave due to personal problems.
Hopefully he'll be back soon, but until further notice LCM Kyle Katarn
(kyle.katarn@isdchallenge.org) has been appointed A-CMDR of Cyclone.
Congrats to the following Wing X'ers who will be awarded CoLs: COL Kessler,
LC Corran Horn (or Hicks), CPT Kou-Taiki, and COL Jack!
Inferno Squadron is conducting a search for a new motto to replace "We are
your destiny." and a Squadron competition flying CM Corran Halcyon's TC-TIE
