AWOL CHECK
I know its unordinary for me to start with the AWOL details, but its the most important thing thats occured this week. For practically 80% of the TF are going AWOL, this will leave us with extreamly low members, but i rather have that and rebuild with teh new Cadets who are already waiting to transfer in, than keep inactive members simply to look active.
So, don't fear those of you who stay, you'll have good shots at command positions yourself of course, and i hope for all of you to encourage your new OCs, and to greet them with as much kindness as possible :)
OPERATION CONQUEST
Conquest restarted yesterday/today, and Day 1 movements are due tonight, so TUCs get your orders in :) For those unsure the rules are available at http://homepages.go.com/~eh_pel/opcon4.rtf

TUCs make sure your new OCs know about Conquest after the AWOL Check, and get them as interested as possible please :) For any OCs who aren't AWOL, since you know the NC well, i'd appreciate it if while your TUC is running your TU in Conquest, you'd help your new OCs as much as possible :)

I'm not entirely sure whats open :P
They'll be lots of chance for people to get CDR or CAPT after the AWOL check, so if you are looking into higher positions, the chances will be unlocked soon, so get your applications ready :)

PROMOTIONS/NEW MEMBERS
None this week, but, if you responded to the AWOL check, consider it a promotion in that I respect you now, rather than thinking you are dead like the rest of the TF :P
MONTHLY EVALUATIONS
These need to be in sometime in the next 10 days, so get them in, they get placed into my own ME, so i recommend you do do them even if they are "Squads dead", as it makes you look better yourself.
INSIDERS DETAILS
OK, so you all have a rough idea what myself, Quake, Bargon, Raven and Shaw are working on, for i've had it sort of, advertised in the #navalcorps topic for the past week.
We're working on a sort of, reformation of the NC structure, its going to be in three main parts, or at least, thats how it currently seems:
1. New Echo (/Foxtrot) rules, as we've found some members who join the NC don't actually have XWA, so we plan to ensure that its more clear, and since i have Foxtrot in brackets, its possible we'll divide it, one to make the NC seem more enticing to Cadets, and secondly for something explained in 3.
2. We'll probably divide NS into NS/I and NS/II, NS/I being basic for beginners, and NS/II being a sort of, NC equivalent of SM/II. A NC FAQ for new OCs will probably be bundled in with this as it gets designed.
3. Alteration of the NC structure into strategists and pilots. This is in order to let those who joined more for strategy do that, and those who are more into the MP to that, aswell as form a closer bond with the TC. As our currnet plan is have a shuttle squadron accompany the TF, with 4 flights, 3 in each, and comprise of ships like Assault Transports, Correlian Transports, Lambda Shuttles, that kinda thing. This way its not exactly starship, but not fighter, and a bond between the TC and NC. Along with a more fun piloting squadron for TFs, to help train OCs better, for the CDR would function on the OCs, rather than the strategy, as the Minor Warships would be the step up after training to strategy.
Well, you can all ignore that i guess for now :P As it sounds confusing, and is confusing when about 5 days worth of essay length emails are condensed into a paragraph :P But as we work on it, more official details will go out ;)
Well, all in all we could call it rebirth, we could call it death. For with the AWOL Results in, well, its gonna look grim. But i call it a rebirth, for we will recover, it may be slow, but the new members will be enthusiasts :)
