Quote: You don't have to bark if you know how to bite.

Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: We were a family of scholars and historians, living a quiet life on Obroa-Skai, thrilling each day to the exploits of Emperor Palpatine and his military against the Rebels. In our eyes, Palpatine was the most significant figure in galactic history, far outshining all the conquerors and statesmen of the past. We were living in a time more exciting than any history book could show us. But it all changed, instantly, with the news of the Emperor's death. I was only a young man, but the news shattered my faith in the justice of Fate. In the valley of her despair, my mother took her own life. After that, my father was broken, and I could only leave him, or sink into the same grey misery. It was upon leaving Obroa-Skai that my true adventure began.

Significant Events of Adulthood: Our flight out from Obroa-Skai was interdicted by Rebels, no doubt newly flushed with the enthusiasm of their "victory" over Endor. A laser blast sent debris flying through the ship, and a stray piece killed one of the crew's gunners before he could reach his weapons pod. Almost on instinct, I ran to take his place, and managed to destroy a Rebel starfighter without knowing entirely how to operate the system. Seeing the enemy ship explode gave me a taste of justice for the deaths of Palpatine and my mother. But this only made me aware of the thirst for retribution that had been growing within me all along, and I realized that studying history would not turn the Rebel tide; I would have to take action, and help to make history myself.

Alignment and Attitude: I do not feel myself to be "in" the world, but rather to be observing it as people and events float by. I suppose this is what happens when one reads too much history; but it has given me a detached calmness which serves me well in the cockpit.

Former Occupations: None.

Hobbies: Studying galactic history, especially the tales of the great conquerors. Practing Tri-Keeth martial arts, a style coming from the Deep Rift region of the under-cities of Nar Shadda. Tri-Keeth is believed to be based on an older style, possibly of Jedi origin.

Tragedies: I was six years old when the Emperor was murdered, and within a few months my mother had lost all will to live and destroyed herself, though to this day I have not learned how.

Phobias and Allergies: At the age of eight, I had a dream about my mother. She stood on the roof of our house, ready to jump into the arms of Palpatine, who waited on the ground below. At that age, I thought of the Emperor as a smiling old man with a great white beard and golden armor, like a picture I'd once seen of Emperor Nolshat of the Tembe Sector. Since having that dream, I am unable to deal with heights while on a planetary surface, though I have no such problem in space.

Personal View of the Empire and EH: The Empire and the Emperor's Hammer are not "mine"; I am part of them, but I do not "live" in them. Instead, with the eyes of a historian, I see them sweep by me, the grandest and most important institutions in the history of the Galaxy, making history just by existing.

Reason for enlisting in the EH: After losing my parents due to the death of our Emperor, I came to realize that the only way to keep myself from sinking into similiar despair would be to fight for what I believe in, rather than just watch it be threatened from afar.
