Quote: So, what kind of quote do you want? Hey, don't write that down. That's not my quote!

Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: Much of the background of LT. Rana Grande remains mysterious, even to him. In fact, nothing is known except that some twenty years ago an abandoned shuttle was found with a samll boy in it. The shuttle was impounded and the boy was sold to a smuggler on nearby Hiran, in the Pirath system. After a few weeks of being a slave, Rana Grande killed his new master, stole a shuttle, and struck out on his own.

Significant Events of Adulthood: Rana Grande quickly became a force to be reckoned with in the Outer Rim and beyond, having become a powerful smuggler in his own right and having made several key connections with others. Particularly notable among these was his close partership with Senor Jello.

Alignment and Attitude: Rana Grande is optimistic, dependable, and generally nice. However, it is no secret that his allegiances are first and foremost to himself, and that they can change at any moment. Also, he is extremely arrogant and delights at any opportunity to prove himself the best.

Former Occupations: Smuggling was not the extent of Rana Grande's ability. He was also a decent pilot and one of his favorite jobs was to use a starfighter to blow up small ships to sell for scrap. He started out using a rickety T-Wing ugly, but moved on to better things as he built his fleet. He and Senor Jello collaborated on many projects later on.

Hobbies: Rana Grande has interests in practically everything. He enjoys the arts, he loves to read, he likes animals. His favorite hobby, however, is building and maintaining the Great Kiwi Fleet, which is currently under the control of Senor Jello. This "fleet" is a Light Calamari Cruiser named The Flaming Kiwi and a few smaller ships, such as Senor Jello's modified cargo ferry, the Magdalen. The Flaming Kiwi is an engineering miracle, in that every system on board is slaved to several others. In this way, Rana Grande can control the entire ship by himself. Although a CRL is a tempting target, almost everyone agrees that starting that battle would bring more trouble than it could possibly be worth.

Tragedies: The only real tragedy Rana Grande has ever experienced was the death of his pet wombat, Alfred.

Phobias and Allergies: None. The only medical conditions that Rana Grande has are the random mutations (which are never very serious, usually just a change in color or the growth of another limb) and the fits of insanity that he is prone to.

Personal View of the Empire and EH: Rana Grande was never a supporter of the Empire. In particular, he did not care for Emperor Palpatine. Mainly, he thought that the Emperor lacked leadership ability and that Darth Vader simply gave him what he had coming to him. The Emperor's Hammer is completely different though. Rana Grande admires the Grand Admiral, and the entire Strike Fleet. Strangely, although the EH was commission by and for the Emperor that Rana Grande despised, he sees no conflict of interest in being a member.

Reason for enlisting in the EH: With the Emperor's Hammer's strong presence in the Outer Rim, law and order was restored much to the dismay of the smuggling circles. Rana Grande knew that his immense criminal operations could not continue there. He could easily have moved his operation anywhere in the galaxy and it would have been fine, but he didn't want to. Besides, the EH billed itself as elite, the best of the best. Rana Grande wanted to join to prove that he was among the elite. Also, it was something to do. He often makes spontaneous decisions on a whim, and he enlisted possibly for no more reason than that he wanted to at the time.

Other Comments: Rana Grande has many documented strengths, and undoubtedly many others still unknown. He is a great ally, and will be a credit to the EH. Be wary with him though; he is dangerous and unpredictable.

ID Line: FM/LT Rana Grande/Pi 2-2/Wing VIII/ISD Colossus SS/ISMx5 [HUSS] {IWATS-CBX-IIC/1-M/1/2-SM/2}
