Quote: Don't take life too seriously, it's only temporary.

Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: Only has vague memories of much of his early childhood. He grew up in the care of a grizzled old lone trader named Padarch, who tried to run a small, honest freighter business in a largely dishonest galaxy. Woobee was told by Padarch that originally he was cared for by a young couple that worked for Padarch on his freighter. They were only on a short contract, but were unfortunately killed during an attack by forces unkown, that left the freighter badly crippled. So unfortunately, Woobee didn't have any information about where he came from or anything about his family as he grew up on Padarch's freighter. He was well suited to the life of a spacer though, living and working there fairly happily for many years, learning the skills of the spacing trade. Eventually he struck out on his own doing various jobs for traders (some shadier than others) including starfighter escort work. One day, doing some pretty legal resupply work for the Empire, the convoy he was escorting was ambushed by Rebels. He did his best to protect the convoy, but they really didn't stand a chance. Many escort craft were destroyed, and many innocents injured or killed. Woobee had to flee in his barely spaceworthy R-41 to a nearby low tech planet, where he found himself pretty much marooned. Unfortunately he had fetched out pretty far on the rim, and far beyond the influence of any major government. He was able to scratch out a living there with the skill he had, but opportunities were pretty few and far between, until the arrival of an Imperial Star Destroyer.

Significant Events of Adulthood: Probably the most important event in Woobee's life was his enlistment in the Imperial Navy. The distant rim planet he found himself marooned on was rescued from lawless anarchy by an Imperial Fleet shortly after the battle of Yavin. Despite the Empire's usual policy of avoiding the use of non-humans in important roles, the combination of an open-minded Commodore, dire personell shortages and remarkable talent on the part of Woobee got him through Imperial screening and into the cockpit of an Imperial TIE fighter. A few years later, Woobee had made his way with his ship, the ISD Vigilant, back and forth around the Rim. His ship was called to join the fleet that was to ambush the Rebellion at Endor. After the catastrophe there, the COM of the Vigilant was going to regroup with some other fleet elements. Unfortunately, mutiny on board forced him and a few loyal crew (including Woobee) to abandon ship. Luckily, they were able to do so with a fair bit of hardware, and were fortunate enough to be able to find a civilized planet they could take refuge on. It soon became apparent that the post-Endor galaxy was in total chaos. His little band of Imperial refugees did their best to survive in a hostile galaxy, with some success. But slowly they lost friends to various events, and one day, after a particularly messy operation, Woobee found himself without any of his old Imperial comrades, and marooned once again.

Alignment and Attitude: A pragmatic soul with a carefree attitude, sometimes surprising in a long-serving Imperial officer. Very easy-going and friendly, sometimes percieved as being a little detached from his peers. Forgiving where reformation is likely, and ruthless with irredeemable rebel scum.

Former Occupations: Crew on a trader vessel; Private starfighter pilot; Imperial Navy pilot/Imperial infiltration commando; Mercenary pilot/infiltration operative;

Hobbies: Woobee almost doesn't have time for hobbies these days, but he does still enjoy reading fiction, something he has enjoyed from a young age. He will always gets a kick out of getting into the cockpit of an Imperial TIE to kill traitor and rebel scum. He has an academic interest in Imperial Fleet tactics and strategy. He occaisionally enjoys going planetside in casual attire, and doesn't mind shocking a few people with his outlandish clothing and unusual appearance, though there are many things in this galaxy stranger than Woobee. He always hopes to find someone of his own race, or news of his home planet.

Tragedies: The most scarring event was the loss of his surrogate parents at a young age. Then the death of his trader friends at the hands of Rebels. Later the fall of the Empire at Endor was a terrible tragedy that threw Woobee's life into chaos. Not knowing the whereabouts of his home planet, or indeed his native race, is something that has affected his entire life as well.

Phobias and Allergies: Woobee doesn't like the cold much at all. Particularly being cold and wet. In a competition between Hoth and Tatooine as holiday destinations, Tatooine wins hands-down. Shame about all those Jawas hanging around though. (Filthy creatures).

Personal View of the Empire and EH: The Emperor's Hammer is, if anything, a greater vehicle for the spread of Imperial Order than the old Imperial Navy. The old organization, while built on high ideals, was riddled with corruption and bigotry. The Emperor's Hammer on the other hand, is a beacon of purity, industry and sanity in the long chaotic night of Republic resurgence. Constant vigilance and pragmatism sees to it that the Emperor's Hammer remains what it was formed to be, a force for Order.

Reason for enlisting in the EH: Woobee was with the Imperial Navy before the Emperor's Hammer rose from the disorganized chaos of post-Yavin disaster. Woobee had thought he'd seen the last of the high ideals he served in the Imperial Navy. When a recruiter for the Emperor's Hammer showed him there was still bastion of order in the galaxy, Woobee couldn't enlist quickly enough! The many years of experience behind him carried him though the PLT Daedelus training to his posting on the ISD Intrepid in Asp Squadron. After commanding Asp Squadron successfully for a few months he transferred to the ISD Grey Wolf to serve there with Cyric on the best ship in the galaxy.

Other Comments: Woobee is a humanoid biped with a saurian/feline cast to his features. A large, fleshy reptillian tail trails behind him, covered in shimmering mottled purple, silver and blue scales. Covered in scales, with silver, white and brown fur adorning the top of his head in an impressive crest, he is certainly one of the less normal looking Imperial officers. His appearance probably did hold him back a bit in the old Imperial Navy, but the Emperor's Hammer seems to harbour little racial prejudice. He's always got a big friendly smile for his fellow crew members.
