Good Morning, Evening or Afternoon, whenever this may find you.

This new year and new millennium will have marked a new age in our beloved club's long and exciting history. I'm sure future EHers will look back to this as "An age of enlightenment". We are the largest Star Wars Gaming Club in existence, and also the largest fan driven Star Wars Club in Internet History. Times are changing, we must accept them and evolve with them. As the surest course to self destruction is inflexibility.

I am not trying to come before you a prophet, ranting about some EH Doomsday, but rather, I would like to offer a few words about the course of events, that the Emperor's Hammer might take. The things that made a gaming club group great when the EH was founded are not the same principles that make a online gaming club great today, or in tommarow's world.

The Emperor's Hammer offers one thing that most other Star Wars Online Gaming clubs cannot, a true role playing experience. This is what sets the Emperor's Hammer apart and has kept it alive for so many years. This is the fire that attracts people all across the world, from a wide spectrum of ages, to a warmth of Imperial Star Wars based gaming enjoyment.

My friends, the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet is magnificent...but, many of us know that it could be greater. And I assure you it will! The Emperor's Hammer can and will establish it's self as the greatest Star Wars club in the world, and we will demand, and we will receive the respect and admiration we so justly deserve. We, my Imperial brothers and sisters are standing before a inevitable dawning of glory to our Fleet.

One evening I ventured onto the Zone, to survey the knowledge of those gamers about the Emperor's Hammer. Of all the people I inquired, one had a faint idea as
to our existence, and he could only say that, "I think they're a small squadron just starting out." I assure you my bewilderment was fierce.

I applaud those of you who have sought attention to the Emperor's Hammer, through magazines etc. But I ask all proud Imperials, to do their part.

Our day has come! I ask everyone to do what they can to help the fleet! I call out to those who make fiction, images, articles, ANYTHING, to submit to the Newsletter! Let our presence be known! I call out to you, those who represent our fine distinguished club in multi-player combat, to get on the Zone and let
them feel our might! I call out EVERYONE to fulfill their duties to the best of their abilities! We can grab the reigns of the Internet Gaming Community and
guide it to a path of Imperial Majesty...but it all lies on you, the proud members, to deliver us to our glorious future. Help unlock the massive illustrious
potential the Emperor's Hammer bears and deliver us the honor, respect and admiration that we so justly deserve.
