The Return: Part One - LT Kaisin Mirtez
“Computer begin recording; this is Lt. Credin of the Imperial ship Relentless. I am in charge of rescue craft ATR Mercy. I was at Endor when the rebel fleet attacked; I was tasked with rescuing EV pilots, and protecting my ship. When the Executor plunged into the Death Star, I knew the battle had been lost, then the order came “RETREAT” the one command I have never heard spoken before, all hope had been lost in a matter of moments. I watched as my ship jumped to hyperspace along with the remaining fleet. I had no idea where to go, I had onboard five injured pilots and three crewmembers, was I just to surrender to the rebels; no I would find the fleet if it took me to the end of my life.”
It’s been three months since Lt. Credin left Endor in search of the fleet and his home, but to no avail the fleet just disappeared it seemed. “Sir where are we” asked PVT. Letne, “I don’t know Len, I just don’t know” answered Credin. After twenty hyperspace jumps looking for the fleet, Credin just did not know where else to look, his last option was to find a friendly port and set down for repairs and perhaps find someone who could assist him in finding the fleet. “Len set course for Prinal 6” Credin ordered, “SIR that planet is off limits to us, by order of the Emperor, you know that, its punishable by death” Letne said in earnest. “I know Len but right now we have no other choice, I don’t think the Emperor is going to have anything to say about it anymore, I believe the Empire has died and with it the Emperor, now set course and engage the hyperdrive” “Yes sir” came the reply. ‘Prinal 6, I have not seen that place in over ten years, since the Emperor forbid everyone from the planet. It was said he forbid us because the planet held secrets him, so say it is where he was born and taught the ways of the dark side. Still others say it is a resting place for fallen Jedi and was the Emperor’s private playground. I don’t know who to believe, but what I do know is that there is a space port there and its where we are going to find help’
