My First Day in the ATF - AD TK-2107
The long time of my training was finally over. I packed my bags in the Cadet’s Quarters when the speaker’s voice ordered all Cadets that finished their training today to move to the Hangar Bay. I had heard this voice lots of times since I came aboard the Training Platform Daedalus but this time I was finally one of those Cadtes leaving to serve the Empire within a real squadron – Chaos Squadron.
I was very expectatnly when I took the turbolift to the Hangar Bay where the shuttle was waiting. After I arrived I saw that the other four pilots that completed their training already stoddd motionless in a line. I hurried and took the last position in the line when the Fleet Admiral Priyum Patel entered together with some Squadron Commanders. They walked slowly along the line and then they grouped a bit away from us and mumbled to each other. Then they looked at us and our names had been spoken loudly and we had to step forward.
When my name was called I stepped forward and one of the Squadron Commanders – a Major – stepped forward and returned my salute. I knew his name from Holonet submission we had before when he asked me to join his forces. I examined the face of Major Enahropes Entar and my first impression was positive. He walked in front of me towards a shuttle and I followed.
The major an me had been the only persons transferring to the Battlegroup called ‘Avenger Tsk Force’. During that time this was nothing more than a name. But when we left hyperspace the Major removed his sealt-belt. I looked confused to him and he smiled. “TK-2107 there is something I want you to see.”
I hurried to stand up when he already walked towards the cockpit and pushed a button to open the door. I knew that entering a shuttle cockpit was against the protocol but I followed him. I saw the two pilots looking towards us and smiling. They seemed to have know what would follow.
Major Enahropes Enhar pointed out of the transpari window. “Your new home – the SSD Avenger.” Then I saw the ship. I had never ever seen before a Superclass Stardestroyer and it looked very noble while the ship was in front of a planet. All the other escort ships looked like small insects flying around the ‘Avenger’. When the shuttle flew towards the Hangar Bay of the ‘Avenger’ I could see the huge size of the ship. Now I could understand why they call those ships the pride of the Imperial Navy.
When the shuttle had landed the Major walked with me to Chaos Squadron Quarters. During this time he talked about the ship’s organization, general handlings within the Wing and Squadron. And some moments later we reached the quarters. Chaos Squadron already knew of my arrival and therefore everyone was there and being introduced. I remember that there have been lots of new faces but with the time those people became my wingmen I entrust my life.
Together with my new Flightleader Karrad Entar – Enah’s brother the Squadron Commander and me walked through the ship and I was guided through all the important stations – Training Chamber, Cantina, Medical Center, Tactical Office and a lot more. We ended our tour at the Commodore’s Quarter. This was the first time I met Shadowhawk and I was impressed that a woman was in command of that Superstar Destroyer.
