CP Kodiak interviews JNR Joey C
(`Kodiak) Greetings Sir, and thanks again for letting me interview you. I'm sure it'll make for sterling reading.
(`Leek) Any time.
(`Kodiak) Lets get started on these questions shall we. How did you first come across the Emperor's Hammer?
(`Leek) I came across the EH while searching through google for an XvT patch. I then decided to join the EH, cause it looked pretty organised and cool, not to mention free. Oddly enough, I never did get around to getting that XvT patch... ah well.
(`Kodiak) Heh, ironic. Now that we know how you came across the EH, why and how did you stumble into the Corporate Division one day?
(`Leek) Well. I had been helping Khadgar out with his little pet Condor project (coming soon), and he mentioned that he needed a CEO for the corporation in charge of creating the project. So he offered me the position.
(`Kodiak) Ah, so thats where Imperial Genesis came from. What happened with that?
(`Leek) Sadly, since those in the corporation, myself included, found ourselves distracted more by other commitments, like me with school, the decision was made to merge Imperial Genesis with another corporation. A shame really, I liked my big salary.
(`Kodiak) Ah, I suppose you getting COMM also took up a bit of your time too! Speaking of which, as COMM, you've helped out the CD quite a bit. How else could you see the CD integrating into the EH as a whole better?
(`Leek) Yes, COMM brought its own set of distractions, what with trying to change the world and everything. I think the CD has done a good job at integrating itself into the EH as it is. I suppose having more inter-SG competitions would help the process even more.
(`Kodiak) Sounds good! Taking into account things we've said, where do you see the Corporate Division in two years time?
(`Leek) Well assuming the EH is still alive in two years time, I see the CD right alongside it. It has the potential to both keep current members interested in the EH, and to also entice more members to join, if the current CO's of the CD keep creating their innovative ideas.
(`Kodiak) So, in that regards, as you are now CS, do you have any long term plans for your CD career, or is it just on the back burner?
(`Leek) I think it's on the back burner for now, sadly. At least until there is a groundswell of activity for Project Condor, then I'll swing back into action there.
(`Kodiak) Onto the final and most general question : Which members of the Emperor's Hammer have been most influential to you, and you consider close friends?
(`Leek) Definetely the people I spent a lot of time with in WingXIII. They helped me develop in the person I am today. Hev Randrowan(sp) was the one that encouraged me to act the way I do today. Khadgar has always been there to keep me interested. I consider Pickled Yoda to be a good friend, in RL as well as in the EH. But the list of good people I know in the EH is too long to list here. :P
