Happy
Holidays from the Fleet Commander: 12.20.02
As Submitted From:
Fleet Commander (GA Ronin)
With the holidays ahead for most of the Members of the EH, I
wanted to post a quick note of thanks for ALL of you that work so hard to make
this organization function for the past 8 years. From the
Command Staff down to the lowliest Lieutenant, it is our Membership that is
our greatest strength.
Over the past 8 years, I have been amazed (almost daily) at the
enthusiasm and creativity of our Membership (and its effect on people's "real
lives" as you will read below). People sometimes ask me why/how I created
the EH. I can sum up my response in a recent "email of thanks" copied
below...I thought the rest of you may appreciate it, as the thanks should go to
all of you, not just me :) The name and personal details have been
edited out to maintain the author's privacy...
Mr. Call,
Four years ago I came to the Emperor's Hammer with the
fictional name "XXXXXXXXX." During this time, I was a freshman entering high
school, still living in a childish world not knowing what I would be doing in
the future. As I went through real life, I developed my hobby in the Emperor's
Hammer to the point where I attained the rank of admiral and the command of an
entire TIE Corps Battlegroup. I was awarded with a Grand Order of the Emperor,
and a slew of other organizational awards. While in the Emperor's Hammer serving
actively, I learned a great deal about command and control, delegation,
micromanagement, and military structure. Though a fictional organization, the
Emperor's Hammer gave me an idea of a career that I may enjoy. I finished high
school in the top ten percent of my class, graduated with honors as a member of
the National Honor Society, and was accepted to the XXXXXXXXXX University where
I currently study history and political science. The Emperor's Hammer was a
factor that inspired me to seek out a career in the military, and I was accepted
into the United States Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. Currently, I am
working as a cadet towards a commission in the USAF as a second lieutenant.
Thanks to the experience I gained in your fine organization,
I feel I have a good understanding of leadership and the responsibilities
thereof. Commanding a flight or squadron in the USAF isn't like commanding a
flight, squadron, wing, or battlegroup in the Emperor's Hammer, but the basic
elements of command still remain. You must know your people, and know what they
are capable of. Working to attain the best results is expected. It is
exemplified in the Core Values of the USAF, "Integrity First, Service Before
Self, and Excellence In All We Do." I am grateful for what the Emperor's Hammer
has thought me, and I look forward to serving the United States as a true
military officer.
Thank you for your organization, Mr. Call. I hope it has
inspired others as it has inspired me.
XXXXXXXXX, Cadet, AFROTC
I know many Imperial Citizens may not think that the EH is perfect or that it's
bureaucracy can be too cumbersome at times. (be reminded that we're a
VOLUNTEER organization supported by YOUR efforts). However, the Emperor's
Hammer is what YOU (as Members) make it...it can be as fun, or as bad, as YOU
desire. But rest assured that your Command Staff ALWAYS has the best
interests of the club at heart and that I maintain an ever-watchful eye over
them too :)
If the EH can affect someone's life choices to better
serve/protect humanity and their nation, we are doing something right !
It is my hope that the Emperor's Hammer will continue to be the
premier amateur online Star Wars gaming club on the Internet for the next 8
years !
So, pat yourselves on the back, enjoy your holidays and above
all...be safe !

Tactical Office Report #67:
12.13.02
As Submitted From:
Tactical Officer (AD Mike)
Tactical Office
Welcome to this 67th Tactical Office Report. It's been one week
since I've been appointed as new Tactical Officer. I can say that my office is
working without any delays, and I'm going to improve cooperation between
multiple EH Subgroups on TAC level.
Few words about my plans. Well, my main plan is to improve this
office as much as I can. Tac Office is working very good but I know there is
always something to improve. I want to increase number of battles in compendium,
but also some big changes like Multi-Player mission compendium, new types of
battles and new platforms I plan major cooperation with TO, SCO and COO offices
and most of Subgroup Commanders. I only ask people to give me some time. I am
TAC for one week, judge me when I will be TAC for year or so. Then I will be
able to show you real effort, not now. I didn't have enough time, to do
something great.
1. "Xunami Wings" - Tactical Office Competition No.1
As you probably know Tactical Office started new mission
creation competition. Our goals is to create plotlines for CAB battles, and use
the later to create CABs. All details can be found on Mission Creation MB, here.
Good luck to all. And side note. Remember, best form of plotline is fiction. I
don't need list of all ships and squadrons you will use. I want storyline
addition to you battles.
2. Tac Office Status:
EH Mission Compendium:
Missions: 2610 (+4)
Tactical Database:
TIE Division:
In Queue: 5 missions
Being Tested: 2 missions, 2 battles
Being Corrected: 2 missions, 1 battle
Final Check: 1 battle
Total: 9 missions, 4 battles
XvT/BoP Division
In Queue: None
Being Tested: 14
Being Corrected: 4
Final Check: 2
Total: 18
XWA Division:
In Queue: 1 mission
Being Tested: 3 missions
Being Corrected: 1 battle, 3 missions
Final Check: 1 battle
Total: 7 missions, 2 battles
Tactical Roster:
TIE: 12
XvT: 18
BoP: 17
XWA: 12
3. Project "Exterminator" update:
XvT-TC battles has all been corrected, and TIE-TC correction is
proceeding well. This week I am going to correct rest of XvT and probably all
BoP battles. My staff will try to deal with TIE and XWA corrections. I expect EH
Mission Compendium to be clean on New Year, but we will see about that.
On side note, I have to say that I am very pleased with
increasing quality of all submissions. I guess EH members know much more about
mission creation than they used to. That's good thing.
4. TIE testers sought:
Tactical Office needs additional testers. Applications to
TCC:TIE Mark Schueler and me. Details can be found Mission Creation Message
Board. Good awards for hard working people.
5. Pending High Scores:
Our XO is working on mailer and it seems it's working now. I
have approved some of high scores, others are still waiting. Don't worry. You
won't have to wait for weeks, I will do them all soon.
Also one word about cheating. Two days ago I had to sent one
person to HCI and case will start soon. Remember people. Editing mission is
forbidden. Killing you own ships too. Do not do it. I have one word to all those
who cheat: mail me and confess. We will try to treat you better, but remember.
You will have to face trial, but at least you will save your honor.
I am now working on new methods of catching cheaters, and I will
soon present it too HCI guys, SO and my bosses. You can be sure that no one will
escape us. Remember, we are not sending innocent people to trial, and I always
mail suspect first. We don't start case until we are 100% sure suspect is
guilty.
DO NOT CHEAT! Think about everything you can loose. Your honor,
respect of your buddies and superiors. And what you can earn? One more high
score? One more medal?
Every time you are not sure if something you do is cheating or
now, refer to Tactical Manual or email me. I will explain everything to you. My
office is always open. ;)
6. Incoming Projects:
At the moment we are trying to clear Mission Compendium
(Exterminator). Then we will work on removing on rather big project which I can
describe as "Database of Tutorials". Also, my CA (which I hope will be approved
soon) will be working on classified project related to High Scores checking.
Current TCC:TIE, will take over everything related to beta testing.
Those are my plans for nearest future. Next in line is upgrading
Tactical Manual to version 3.0 and update of Tac related course.
7. XvT Mission Design Course (XTM/1) updated:
I've completly redesigned XTM/1, so it should be even better
now. Right now, I need to update one thing: online test. However this will have
to wait for new TO. But don't worry, you can still pass old test, or take
offline version of new one.
8. Final word:
Remember. My office is always open for you. You can email me
anytime and ask question and I will reply for sure. Do not be affraid of me. I
know some people paint me as cold-hearted bastard but trust me I am here to help
you all, so in case of any questions just drop me an email at

Flight Office
Greetings all and welcome to this week's report from the Flight
Office...
News -
- With the retirement of Lieutenant Colonel Shadd as the Squadron Commander of
Praetorian, myself and VA Trouttrooper have decided on a
replacement...congratulations go out to Captain Hunter!
Hunter certainly has large shoes to fill...Shadd was an exemplary CMDR and set
high standards for all to aspire to.
- RA Smitrock announced his resignation as COM of the ISD Subjugator earlier
this week and moved down to a FM position on the ship. Without delay Admiral
Tiger has appointed his successor...congratulations to the ship's former WC,
Rear Admiral Chamberlain. His first duty as COM will be to select a new Wing XX
Wing Commander.
- Congrats are also due to Wing IV's WC, LC Halcyon, who has been promoted to
Colonel for his superb work as a Flag Officer.
- Commendation of Loyalty time. The details are on the TC news page and the
latest OPS report. On a related note, congrats to Vice Admiral Khaine, who
returns as CA:OPS.
Also congrats to RA Gord Darkonian, the new CA:TAC.
- Competition Approvals: The OPS is NOT approving competitions, and neither am
I. You can either go ahead and run the competition, or just wait until a new TO
is appointed, which shouldn't be too long now.
- The recent problems with the database all seem to be resolved now (fingers
crossed :P). Many thanks to my CA, Admiral Cyric, for processing all those back
logged Recruits.
- COL Von Reinthaler has redesigned the Tau homepage, and it looks as swank as
ever:
http://www.knology.net/~reinthaler/
- Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday today. For the
record, I'm 22 :P
Respectfully,

1) We have a new Commander, Operations; LTC Hemi. His new assistant is CPT Delak
Krennel. One of his first priorities is to get current SG-wide operation back
underway. It has been idling while the office has lain vacant. Congratulations
to both of them. Along with these new officers will come a new operations
website.
2) My Commander, Security has seen a rise in in-channel profanity and general
verbal abuse. This is also coming from the mouths of officers/staff. The
security officer is taking a harder line on this and I am in support of her. The
Hammer's Fist is one of the best-behaved subgroups and I want to keep it that
way.
3) Our online Jedi Knight 2 gaming group is solidifying into the Prefect's Royal
Guard. It grew out of a number of different incarnations; Shadow Knights,
Dragoons, Prefect's Royal Guard. Rather than being under the Commander,
Operations or XO's office, the PRG is run by the Commander, Security. The PRG
has a simple rank structure to show player's skill levels and consistency.
4) The next Dark Legionnaire issue is underway. This is Big News in the HF and
it is scheduled to hit the web before Christmas!

1. Captain-Supervisor Thorin Oakenshield this week stood down as Chief Executive
of Cosmic Holonet Corporation to concentrate on his duties as Chairman. I'd like
to thank Thorin for his excellent work as CHC's Chief Executive. Thorin has
lifted CHC onto the next level, with contracts and projects being constantly
supplied and activity being at it's highest.
Replacing him is now former Echo Detachment Commander, Captain-Supervisor Johann
Glorick. This meant that Detachment Commander of Echo was vacant, so Senior
Technician Darknyte has been appointed. Congrats!
2. This is the first 'big' medal to be awarded under myself. It's been a while
since the Prex's Decoration was awarded to a member of the Corporate Division
for their outstanding work... and I believe i've found the perfect example of a
Prex's Decoration receipient. Congratulations to RA Reb Crush who is hereby
awarded the Prex's Decoration for his work as Executive Vice President!
3. The Reformation plans for the Corporate Division are almost complete and
should be sent around the Direx Board soon. Expect some changes in the next few
weeks.
4. Cosmic Holonet Corporation is set to become the first corporation to have its
Stock split. This means that the stocks will become half the price, but twice
the amount. This means that iBank users that don't have a great deal of credits
to use now stand a better chance to invest in CHC. All current users that have
CHC shares, don't worry, they'll be cut, but you'll receive twice the amount you
have at the moment to make up for its value.
5. Carried on from last week, remember to use the message board!

Also, use IRC to communicate with others. If you haven't got IRC
go to www.mirc.com and download the latest

6. There were no recruits this week, come on people, get recruiting!
7. No report was submitted by the CHMN, so no Member of the Week has been

Death of
Aylius Khan, former CA:RO: 11.24.02
As Emailed From: Reconnaissance
Officer (HA Keiran Idanian)
It is never easy saying goodbye to a friend. It is always a
surprise when someone passes away, but we know that is the way of things. It
comes even more as a shock when we learn that it is someone from the Emperor's
Hammer. Granted, with so many members, we should know it is inevitable, but
still it is hard.
We have just learned, that weeks ago Lt. Colonel Aylius Khan died in a plan
accident. Aylius "Judge" Khan, a former-ROA and CA:RO, was a great help in the
early stages of the Reconnaissance Office. I must say, that without him, I'm not
sure if I would have ever caught on to the jobs of this office as quickly.
I was very sad to hear of his death. Aylius was a good and loyal friend. He was
a great help to the Reconnaissance Office, and I know he was a great help and
friend to all who known him.
Rest in peace, my friend.... I hope you know, that without you helping me when I
became RO, things may not have been the same as they are today.

of EH Tactical Officer. Not only was he highly recommended from the
outgoing TAC, he has already picked up the duties of being TAC, without me or

office for three years, and for one year as CA:TAC. Recently, he has
helped out with the EH uniform as well as held a high presence on IRC.
His working knowledge of the EH Database and the procedures of

AD Mell Resigns as Training
Officer, Replacement Sought: 12.03.02
As Submitted From:
Executive Officer (SA Astatine)
Overview
The position of Training Officer is one of the most demanding in
the Emperor's Hammer. The position covers a wide range of duties and the
successful candidate will be expected to lead by example. Due to the lack of
"natural progression" in the position, a fair amount of on-the-job training and
supervision will be required over a long term. A high standard of work and a
long term will also be expected.
Selection Criteria - Essential
1. Proven experience in running competitions, preferably
involving a scope larger than a TIE Corps Wing (or similar)
2. Good written communication skills
3. An acceptable level of presence in online media (such as IRC, message
boards)
4. Fast email response time
5. The ability to work with a wide range of EH personnel, including the
Executive Office, Flight Officer, Operations Officer and various officers within
the TIE Corps and subgroups
Selection Criteria - Desirable
1. Previous training experience
2. Be able to take orders and directives from the Executive Officer
Some of the core duties of the position include:
* Maintaining the graduates list
* Processing competitions submitted to the competition system
* Reviewing and approving new courses within acceptable parameters
You must address each criteria with supporting evidence. Simply saying "Yes, I
can do that" will not be enough. Include specific examples of
your experience. You should meet at least the essential criteria to be
considered for the position. You will be expected to perform the core
duties as listed and if you are unwilling to perform them, don't waste time by
applying. You must include at least three (3) references. At least one must be
a current or former superior (preferably current). Ensure you have their
permission first. If it is found out that you did not gain permission, this
will reflect upon your application in a negative light. Applications should be
sent to the Fleet Commander ( garonin@aol.com
) and Executive Officer (
jpboyce@indigo.net.au ) with the subject "Application for Training
Officer".

No one was sent to the High Court of Inquisitors (HCI) this
week. I did send out a number of official warnings and other kinds of warnings
to members.
First of all, do not use the SO/HCI system to gain advantages or frame people
that you want removed from the club. The truth will be found sooner or later.
Anyone found to have abused the system would face severe punishment.
Next, be aware of the feelings of others. Thinking about what you do before you
do it can save you a lot of trouble. If everyone exercised some judgment and
restraint, there wouldn't be a need for any trials in the HCI or warnings from
me.
Remember, that formal complaints about members violating the EH Regulations goes
to me. Send me all evidence you can. If it is logs from IRC, e-mails, or message
board posts (give me the specific address or URL for message board post). Copy
what information is in the address bar when you are viewing the message board
topic. Attach IRC logs and forward e-mails if possible. Otherwise, send e-mails
as plain text file
attachments.
If you are unable to provide evidence, I cannot put charges on anyone. So save
e-mails if at all possible and log everything on IRC. (Remember where you save
log files).
There are some complaints that were just received that I am working on. If you
are unsure if I got a complaint mail, send me another e-mail
asking, or find me on IRC as FA_Brad.

As time draws closer, the Emperor's Hammer's plans for Star Wars Galaxies are
solidifying. However there is still a lot of room, for growth and input. In an
effort to deliver what you most want, a topic has been created on the Fringe
Messageboard hosted on the EH Messageboards at
http://www.ehnet.org/mb. This thread has been going on for awhile now.
However I have only seen input from a small number of members. I want to make
sure that all members know that they have a say, and that I value their input on
this. I know that some members have trouble with the messageboards, and I
therefore extend the invitation for any member to email their ideas to me as
well. Just include "[Fringe:SWG]" in the subject to make it stand out.
Secondly, I would also like to recruit members to help work on a comprehensive
website that will allow for many MMORPG tasks such as help with quests. Player
Association Information, Requests for help and the like.
If you are IRC inclined, you can also join the channel #thefringe. I am usually

wish to join and discuss what is going on, feel free. I frequent the channel
from Midnight to 8 AM EST(when I am at work) so if you can't sleep, come bug me.
Also make sure to check out

Grand Order of the Emperor (GoE) Medal Awarded to AD NiksaVel: 12.07.02

Operations Manual for Medal descriptions)
<SALUTE>
Sirs,
I would like to recommend the Infiltrator Wing Commander, Admiral NiksaVel for
the award of the Grand Order of the Empire.
In his time as IWCOM, the Admiral has worked tirelessly to better the subgroup.
Be it designing new, and I must say stunning, medal images; creating the new
layout for upcoming Domain site; or just simply doing his job, consistently and
well.
The Admiral has been one of the most reliable IWCOMs I have seen or worked under
and I have been privilege to work so close with him. He has brought a new
stability to the IW Command Staff, been willing to listen to any and all ideas
put forward by the membership and help out any and all members from myself to
the Flight Members.
NiksaVel was promoted to Admiral 6 months ago and since then has not received
any medal, EH or IW for his dedicated and vital work. It is my opinion that this
award is more than justified and would say a much-deserved thank you to the
Admiral from both the IW membership and the larger EH.
Many thanks for your time.

SW-CON in Hamburg, Germany:
11.30.02
As Emailed From: Medical
Officer (RA Wemmel) and FA Michael Tolwyn, ret.
Part I
Hello Sir,
First of all: this con was way too expensive for being a perfect example of
disorganization. One example: The opening ceremony started with a delay of 3
hours...and the sound simply sucked. There is no other way to put it, because
the (radio)micro wasn't able to transmit two words straight to the amplifier
without having a blackout. Someone studying cryptology would have had his
greatest hours with decrypting that transmission. And the lack of a side program
left much room for boredom. But at least several panels were worth watching.
Chief among them was the one held by ADs Ozzel, Piett and Motti. In this Panel
Michael Sheard grabbed the radio micro, while the other two kept the one with
the cable, and ran around the room in his typical enthusiastic way and
effectively held the micro into the mouth of as unsuspecting a Jedi, Sith, Naboo,
Java he could find in the audience and make him or her ask a question. Since he
passed me several times without asking me this was great fun..although his first
strike was aimed at Mike Tolwyn and hit dead center... ("I *had* a good question
- it's not my fault those Admirals didn't understand me..." - remarks from Mike)
even more fun for me ;)
Someone had a TCG...booth...well, let's call it small table with three chairs
around it and so we were able to spend most of the boring times with some
playing cards and next to Shannon McRandle (formerly Baksa) and Michonne
Bourriague. Speaking of the two models: Mike has made friends with Shannon and
you can expect a mail about an upcoming interview with her soon. An update on
Michonne will follow tomorrow... :-)
Here's one image of Admiral Piett (Ken Colley), who agreed to become an honorary
member of the EH, signing the attached photograph to Mike and myself.
OK, that's it for now.
Part II
Hello Sir,
...and here is the final update on the SW-CON in Hamburg.
Today (Sunday) was boring as usual.. again the panels were about 1 hour behind
schedule and they canceled the ones that were planned for the previous two days
but were victims of the disorganization. Same here. On the positive side: I
asked Michonne Bourriague (Aurra Sing) if she would perhaps become an honorary
member of the EH and/or give us an interview on IRC. She was really interested
in both of them and gave me her mail-address to send her further information on
the EH.
Ray Park was there as well and my second recruitment-"victim". Although he
didn't react nearly as positively as Michonne did, he asked me to send him some
information as well. I'll prepare mails with the leaflet and some additional
information.
Autographs: nothing new EH related, but I got Richard LeParmentier to sign
Michael Sheards book with the words "This is one of three books not signed by
Michael, but BY ME" ;)

Tactical Officer (TAC) and
Chancellor of the Senate (CHS) Requirements Posted: 11.31.02
As Prepared by:
Executive Officer (SA Astatine)
Requirements for TAC
Tactical Office
Overview
The position of Tactical Officer presents a unique challenge. The smooth
operation of the Tactical Office effectively ensures the smooth operation of the
entire TIE Corps. A high quality of work effort, ethics and commitment are
required for this position.
Selection Criteria - Essential
1. Proven command experience, at the level of at least TIE Corps Wing
Commander or a similar position of responsibility.
2. Good written communication skills.
3. An acceptable level of presence in online media, such as message boards, IRC,
etc.
4. Fast email response time.
5. The ability to work with a wide range of EH personnel, including a majority
of the TIE Corps.
6. Experience in mission design or the Tactical Office.
Selection Criteria - Desirable
1. Proven long-term, consistant workmanship in a position.
2. Knowledge of the BSF system.
3. High levels of trust, honesty and ethics.
You must address each criteria with supporting evidence. Simply saying "yes, I
can do that" will not be acceptable. You must also include at
least three references. At least one of these must be a current superior. These
references will be checked and your application will be considered in a highly
negative light if you have not gotten permission from your references to use
their names. Applications are to be directed to the Fleet Commander (
garonin@aol.com ) and Executive Officer (
jpboyce@indigo.net.au ) with the
subject "Application for TAC".
Requirements for CHS
Imperial Senate
Overview
The position of Chancellor of the Senate will offer a unique challenge to
applicants. The Senate, as many of its members know, is in trouble
and it will take a supremely skilled leader to lead the subgroup out of the
wilderness. Applicants must address the following criteria:
Selection Criteria - Essential
1. Proven command experience, at a level of TIE Corps Wing Commander or
equivalent.
2. An acceptable level of online presence.
3. Fast email response time.
4. A clean record.
5. The ability to work with a range of EH personnel.
6. A plan for fixing the Senate.
Selection Criteria - Desirable
1. Member of the Senate.
2. Proven track record in improving a sector of the EH or a subgroup.
You must address each criteria with supporting evidence. Simple saying "Yep, I
can do that" won't be enough. You must also include three references - including
at least one superior. These references will be checked. Applications are to be
directed to the Fleet Commander (
garonin@aol.com ) and Executive Officer (
jpboyce@indigo.net.au ) with the
subject "Application for the position of Chancellor".

Cazrim Mano (also known as "Derius") of the Bounty Hunter's
Guild was sent to the High Court of Inquisitors last night. He is suspected of
violating Articles of War violations 404 - Failure to Obey an Order or
Regulation, 408 - Provoking Speech, and 409 - Conduct Unbecoming an
Officer and Gentlemen. If a trial goes through, check the High Court of
Inquisitors News Page
http://www.minos.net/~moreco/hci/news.php.
Be very careful of what you say (actually type) on IRC. Most of my cases are
because of behavior problems on IRC (and on a smaller note,
Message Boards). With a quicker way to communicate, IRC is both a blessing and a
curse, especially to members who do not pause to think
over what they are going to say before pressing "Enter" (or Return). If you are
upset about something, you should probably walk away from the
computer and cool off. It is easier to think clearly when you are calm. If you
still want to then send a complaint, feel free to contact your superior officers
or me (if the former isn't possible or reasonable).
Many complaints were received and are being processed now. If you want to know
how things are going for a complaint you sent, e-mail me. I'm having my CA
handle some complaints behind the scenes to alleviate my work load. I guess
everybody stopped watching Ep II DVD. :(
If you feel I am taking too long on some complaints, you have to realize that
some people send me complaints on members they do not care for and have some
weak (or potentially false) evidence. I must verify the evidence and see things
from both sides before proceeding with a
decision to disregard the complaint, issue a warning or official warning, or
send someone to the High Court of Inquisitors. Also, I am human and can make
errors or not get to things right away (*gasp* - yes a CS officer is admitting
to this). Sometimes it is the fact that I am waiting on e-mail replies from
other members to verify evidence.
If some complaints can be handled by superior officers or incidents handled by
channel operators or Message Board moderators, all the better. The more workload
I have, the less time I have to spend on each complaint.
One day I hope to report no complaints received and nobody sent to the High
Court of Inquisitors. Please follow the EH Regulations (Bylaws,
Articles of War, IRC Codes of Conduct) and it will happen !

they would like to add please don't hesitate to use the form on the memorium

I am working to upload the 9 EH NL's that up till this point, have not been
HTML'ized, this weekend. They are NL's #35-39, 42-46. I will send a
further announcement once they are completely uploaded, and checked once more
for accuracy.
I have added a "Debate Forum" to the EHNet.org MB's. This forum was the
brainchild of FA Kumba to promote thoughtful discussion and debate on a range of
issues. Rules for the forum have been posted here:

topics must be sent via a private message to one of the moderators (myself, or
Kumba currently) for consideration, and unlike other forums, this one will be
ruthlessly moderated. That means anything we (the moderators) deem spam, or
inappropriate in whatever manner, WILL be deleted.

Sirs,
The first order of business is the reports database, which will soon be updated
to contain the reports that have been sent to you, but not posted on the
database. Also, our roster count currently stands at 317.
In other news, pending some administrative work, the KAG cycle will soon begin
again. Coursca has been doing a bang-up job as Proctor in keeping the office
running smoothly.
The run-ons ended tonight, and Darth Shadow plans on having those results posted
Sunday, after which new run-ons, with slightly different rules, will be posted.
In addition, he will be starting some fiction competitions out of the Adjunct's
Office, which warms the Dark Prince's heart greatly.
Speaking of competitions, Specialist Skorbacca's personal webpage competition is
proceeding. Grading is scheduled for the 10th of December, so stay tuned
thereafter for the winners!
The Crime Management competition is also running and with a significant number
of entries. They cannot just yet be added to the HoloNet due to technical
issues, but will be soon; the SP requests everyone's patience. But he adds that
this should not deter people from participating, as he himself is still able to
handle submissions!
Retroactive best wishes to all for a happy Thanksgiving, if Americans they be.
If not, that's OK too.
Respectfully submitted,
Dark Prince Trench

Loads of stuff here, so read carefully :)
1. ID Manual
A completely revised and updated ID manual is now available for public use. Go
to http://manual.ehintel.org to see the
spiffy new look of the
old agent's handbook :D
2. RA Slade resignation
Unfortunately, RA Slade (aka Lutronus) has resigned his position. However, for
his efforts, he has been awarded a personal SHU. Thanks and good luck with RL!
3. New (old) UBIQ member
I have appointed RA Timbal to replace Slade as Special Projects Coordinator (see
the manual if you don't know what that is :D). Timbal has been on the UBIQ
before (TTDR a few months back), so welcome back :)
4. Manual revision fallout
Because of the changes to some position descriptions, updates need to be made to
the roster. Effective immediately, the BUDRs of BOO and ANLY are promoted to
MAJ. Also, the former BRLRs of Plexus (you know who you are) are promoted to CPT.
Congrats all around :)
5. Manual revision fallout, Part Deux
Also, all members of IntOrg hereby receive Imperial Blasters (
http://manual.ehintel.org/awards.htm#weapons ) just for being in IntOrg :)
6. Praetorian Squadron
Quick summary:
-MAJ Shadd is staying as CMDR! :D
-Prae beat Typhoon head-to-head! :D
-New pilot joins! :D
I think that's about as much as we can handle for one report :D
