A new Era has begun...

Greetings reader,

            I'm Marshall Darkone, your host and Commander of the Hammer's Fist, part of the powerful Emperor's Hammer Elite Strike Fleet...Commanded by Grand Admiral Ronin (GARonin@aol.com).

            I'd like to present you the first official issue of the monthly Hammer's Fist Newsletter "The Legionnaire" as created by the Commander of Development, Lieutenant-General Johnny Gunn (scott@waterw.com).

            "The legionnaire" will be released the first of each month, and occasionally there may be special editions which everyone should read... This will be the "sounding board" of the Hammer Fist.  In it, there are listings of avaible positions, promotions/demotions, important news, the roster...And of course, there will also be areas for your creations.  At any point in time, feel free to mail contributions to either myself at darkone@poboxes.com or the CD, Lieutenant-General Johnny Gunn, at  scott@waterw.com.

            Since the size of the magazine will hopefully grow months after months, "transfer time" might become a problem.  In the future if you feel that the magazine is just too large to be e-mailed to you, there will be a web page where you will be able to download it,  along with back issues.  Just contact one of the Command Officers, and you will be removed from the magazine mailing list.  Once the magazine gets a strong enough following, and members start sending in materials, there is the possiblility of a weekly newsletter.  This will be strictly text, and only cover HF news.  Then the magazine will shift form a news letter to the anthology for all of the HF member's creations (art, music, stories, etc.). 

            Now that you have a fraily good idea of what "The Legionnaire" is, I invite you to close this first window...And read it.
