COMBAT
UNIFORMS Positions The position nomenclature is just as simple. Stripes, ranging from one to three, denote the most common officer positions of Squad Leader through Company Commander. For Battalion Commander through Battlegroup Commander, there are one to three stars. Assistant positions have an additional diamond. An assistant officer uses the stripes or stars of his superior but the color of his own rank. So an ABC/CPT assistant to a BC/GN would use the Pauldron with a star and yellow color, not the single star/red colored Pauldron of his superior. All General Staff Pauldrons have the single stripe and star.
In a very short time of study, you will be able to tell the position and general rank of anyone in the Legion at a glance. You now have the tools and knowledge to build your own combat uniform! |
