VANGUARD AND FLEET NEWS
A slow week this past week, i blame the warm weather and the scantly clad women myself........well they've kept me distracted anyways, but even your favourite old drunk found time to fly (well i had to pop out for shopping, so why not take your T/D......thats what i say)
A warm welcome to SL Steel and SL Mahoon who join the VAN Family, and special thanks for his service to LC Jason Hunter who leaves us to go into the reserves.
We are nearly at our magical 60 members count, big fat party at Sickys expense is promised when we reach our goal:)

BitchX Professor Open for Applications

The Training Office is current looking for a new BitchX (a text-based IRC client) Professor to join the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School. The requirements are:
An active member of the Emperor’s Hammer holding the rank of Lieutenant (or equivalent) or above.
Extensive knowledge of the open-source IRC client, BitchX (http://www.bitchx.org/).
Be able to grade exam submissions within 24 hours.
Keeping Graduate Counts (total and per month).
Maintaining/updating the Course Notes (basic HTML knowledge necessary; or a good WYSIWYG editor).
Applications should be sent to me (to@emperorshammer.org) with the subject “BitchX PROF Application”.

The two vacant Flag positions have finally been filled. Congratulations to Colonel Frodo March who returns to the Flag Staff as Commodore of the ISD Intrepid and a promotion to Rear Admiral.
Congrats also go out to Lieutenant Colonel Thorn, who takes over command of Wing III as it's new Wing Commander.

FCHG COMPETITION
The Pilot gaining the most FCHG Points during the month of March will receive an IS-SW and the runner up will get a IS-BW.
VANGUARD JOUST
Our Mp competition with points being awarded as follows:
10 POINTS---DFC
05 POINTS---PER WIN
03 POINTS---PER LOSS
01 POINTS---EACH COMPETITION PARTICIPATED IN
The one with the most points receives an IS-SW and the runner up gets an IS-BW.
RECRUITMENT COMPEITION
The Pilot assisting and aiding in the placement of the most recruits(cadets or reservists) during the month will receive an IS-SR and the runner up will receive an IS-BR.
FICITON COMPEITION
This will be our fiction competition. Write as many peices of fiction you care to and submit them to me. I will compile them all at the end of the month and submit them for the NL. Myself and COM Sickman will judge the winners. The winner receives an IS-SR and the runner up an IS-BR.
FLIGHT WARS
This competition has been approved. Round three starts Monday and has two weeks left. All members of the winning flight will receive IS-SW's and the runner ups will receive IS-BW.
