SQUADRON NEWS

• Okay, school is pretty much over anywhere you look and we have all your ships preflighted and ready to go!  I expect a monster month in Hornet for June and I have a feeling I'm not going to be disappointed.  In fact I have two competitions pending that are set to start next week; one flying and one not flying, in celebration of summer!  Watch the website, the message board, and/or your inbox for details soon!

• Due to RL and his increasing duties in Battlestats, Lieutenant Commander noWedge has stepped down from his Flight Leader position.  I've already gotten several requests to take that FL spot but I'm not going to let anybody in until you show me what you are made of!

• Captain Optimus has taken over the office of Hornet Tactical Officer.  This means he will be coordinating with us and assigning us battles to get more citations for the squadron.  How citations work.

• Nobody won Officer of the Month last month.  This is because a different person was named "Officer of the Week" each week last month.  So it's kind of a bad news/good news thing.  (good that we have so many active pilots)  I may change the rules of the competition if this keeps happening though.
  

• Most of you are pretty good at keeping in contact with me, and that's really great.  Just a reminder though that if you know you're going to be out of contact for a while please let me know and mark it on your profile.
