SQUADRON NEWS

Congratulations to Flights 1 and 3 who are now facing each other in Round 4 of Flight Wars. Great job everyone who is participating!

Some changes to the squadron website this week thanks to Captain Optimus: The competitions page has been updated and the officer pages are now up. If you are a Flight Leader and would like to submit any content to put on your page, let me know.

Congratulations to our squadron XO Major Drake Jensen who won both Pilot of the Month and Officer of the Month for April! Per Major Jensen's request, he is no longer eligible to be named Officer of the week/month, as a good XO should automatically be a great officer!

Now that the roster has stabilized we are back to getting citations. We are up by 5 this week for a total of 16.

Despite the squadron's success in Flight Wars, activity is down a bit, but I blame this on finals and the end of school. If you are a student, then the best of luck to you!

A reminder that Zerphirio has offered to create a group squad photo based on your own RL photo. Email him a cool pose and we'll put the finished product up on the website! I'd love to see everybody's participation for this!

I recieved an image made by Lieutenant Commander Wharfin De Grooz of Python Squadron in honor of Hornet's success in Flight Wars so far. It is displayed below. Thanks Wharfin! Best of luck to Python as well!

Jer finishes the WSR and quickly returns to the Stryker's Vengeance to fly more missions for Flight Wars.
