- SQUADRON NEWS -

This week our Commodore, VA Wil Striker, resigned and transfered to Reserves due to conflicts with AD Darksaber, BGCOM of the Aggressor Strike Force. I don't think that personal grudges with superiors should prevent an officer from staying in his position but Wil preferred to step down. I respect his decision but I still think that Darksaber is a great BGCOM.

Round #5 of Sovereign Squadron League is over and Diamondback did once again a good work. Participation in this round has been average but considering most of you are busy with school exams and other real life issues I'm satisfied about our performance. Round #6 is currently on and I expect to see another good round for us.

A shining Palpatine Crescent medal has been awarded to Derek Dan for his good activity during the month of April, congratulations and sorry for the delay. Also, end of the month is near and this means that soon I'll be writing a new Squadron Evaluation, this is the right time to show me how good and active you are!

To break the "fly,fly,fly" routine I've started an inner-squadron Trivia contest. Send your answers to ehgidda@tiscalinet.it , winner of each round will get a nice Imperial Star - Bronze Ribbon. I've emailed the ten questions for first round to this egroup some days ago but in case you lost that mail check out the "Db Trivia" thread on Diamondback Forum.

Thanks to Zhaim our citations started to rise again. This week we got five new citations that bring our total to 247, not bad but I hope to see more pilot files flooding my mailbox during the next week (see the "it's Squadron Evaluation time" part above :p).
