There's one week left to submit pilot files for Round #5 of Sovereign Squadron League 2003. Our XvT professor, CPT Drako, has already flown XvTF 140 many times and he thinks this is a hard mission (shame on me for choosing it! :p), but I'm sure that you're willing to show it's possible to get a good score for that mission and maybe complete it on hard! And don't forget of XWAF-100 and TIEF-220, if you own TIE or XWA try to complete those battles as well, please!

In my last report I informed you that I was going to start two new competitions, unfortunately these are still on queue. I hope to receive good news soon from the Training Officer and from our Flaggies. I don't want to reveal details of the two competitions now, just let me say that one of them will be an original Wing-wide fliying competition...hehe, hope it works! :-)

This week the Fleet Commander approved to extend the maximum attainable rank as a Flight Member from Lieutenant Commander (LCM) to Commander (CM). To be eligible for a promotion to Commander, a FM must have spent at least three months in that position. Well, this is a good news for LT Beherrscht and LCM Hubert: start sending me pilot files, pass IWATS courses or fly MP, I'm looking forward to promote both of you to Commander.

I think communications need to be improved a bit. Without communication we aren't a real squadron, we just are a group of people flying missions. There're many ways you can keep in contact with other members of the squadron, there's Diamondback message board , if you like IRC join #Wing_XIV and have some fun moments with other members of this Wing, last but not least there's the good old email! Remember that my mailbox is always open and I usually check my mail at least once a day so don't be afraid to send me questions, suggestions, complaints etc...

It took a while, but I'm pleased to announce that in agreement with the Grand Master, Major Adren Silvori has been selected as the new Commander of the Elite Tau Squadron. Congrats!
