Lieutenant Colonel Philo reporting in for Yod Squadron 5.18.03
Fleet News:
· LC Aeishline Strathaven is stepping down as WC of Wing III. No applications are being taken yet.
· Lieutenant Colonel Wysseri Arestar is the new Wing VIII WC. Congrats to her.
· Major Adren Silvori is the new CMDR of Tau Squadron.
· Avoid TAC hissy fits! Read the TAC report, and follow its guidelines. Basically, include your PIN and email on every correspondence with the TAC office, and label your pilot files "properly".
Ship News:
· Sovereign Squadron League, Round 5! See Squadron News.
· Wing IV CMDRs vs. the Rat Pack: Wolvie has the pilot files, and need to get them to LC Mike (hint, hint). Results to be announced shortly after that.
· Wing V’s numbers are getting dangerously low. Help them out with some recruiting.
Wing News:
· Wing Archives Fiction Comp—Still running, with an IS-SR up for grabs.
· Forgot to mention Wolvie’s promotion to LC last week—congrats!
Squadron News/Orders:
News:
· Foxy has been appointed as Flight Leader of Flight 2. Still a Flight Leader spot open for Flight 3, as least temporarily…
· Theta Squadron Invitational: Second round (vs. Tempest) due tomorrow, TIE-FREE 208. As soon as I fly it, we’ll have the 3 pilot files we need. :P Congrats, though, to everyone for getting past the first round—we had the highest average score, and beat the squadron with the second-highest average. Let’s see if we can keep it going.
· Sov Squadron League:
Round 5 assignments: TIE-FREE 220, XWA-FREE 100, XvT-FREE 140. Due to the coordinators by 23 May, so get them to me by THIS THURSDAY, the 22nd. Fly as many as you can!
Also, remember that the XvT-FREE missions require you to use a brand new pilot file every time you fly it. If you don’t complete the mission on the first try, delete the old pilot file and try again with a new one.
