As he drifted away in a day dream a familiar figure marched up, saluted and then stood to attention. "At Ease MAJ TK 2107, how was the wing during my leave of absence?" "Commander, there has been many problems within the Corps and its sub groups, many directly affect the Avenger Task Force." "I see, I shall be a while checking my holonet and then I shall be discussing matters with our new Commodore." "Excellent Sir and good-bye" "Pity to see you go Major, the short tenure I served with you has been an honor and good luck with your new Wing." With that MAJ TK-2107 stepped on to the same Lambda Class Shuttle, turned saluted just as Anthol returned the salute and the door was sealed... -News- Back from my leave of absence, for all interested I went to sunny Barcelona and had a fantastic time, the journey was a bit rough but I'm back in the swing of things. As many of you know there has been a mutiny within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, people who follow this separatist movement will not be accepted in the Corps or in my wing. I know of two or three members part of this renegade bunch and will be enquiring further into the amount of people who are part of this movement. After the mutiny, Shadowhawk, Tiger and Pman left. These 3 have been replaced by 3 fine officers; COM of the Avenger - Demos, BGCOM - Khaen and WC of XX - TK 2107. With Khaen getting BGCOM, a good friend of mine has taken over the Sub, COM of the Subjugator - Mell. I personally know all but one of these officers and they are fine examples of loyal, hardworking people and I hope to work closely with them in bringing back glory and honor to the Avenger Task Force. I will be reorganizing the wing shortly and there will be many changes. I want those who remain to the EH Cause to be a lean, mean fighting machine but I need all of yours helps, as a Wing Commander I cannot do everything but I will put as much effort as possible into assisting XVIII and the Avenger Task Force to become the best battle group the Corps have ever seen.   -Competition- There is never a shortage of competitions for you all to get medals in; Note; I hope all of these will remain the same. Keep participating and await the outcomes. XVIII Squadron Comps Rage Squadron [Rage] DoA Competition #001 (competition ID #412) - IS:BW for Top Score on Battle #140 IS:BR for Best Author in a humerous story about the daily activities of Rage Pilots (Max 5pages). This Competition is being handled by the Rage Department of Activity (DOA) Wraith Squadron Make a Movie (competition ID #446) - FANTASTIC IDEA - Competitors will make movies at the following link: http://www.fanta.dk/default.htm which has become so popular as of late about anything EH related. The goal is to be funny, and anything that doesn't break the AoWs or CoCs goes. I will judge the movies, and pick the winner. Hunter Squadron Hunter Squadron Ace - Each month there will be a free mission of any platform assigned to the pilots. They have till the end of the month to complete it. The platforms will rotate each month. Whoever has the highest score will be awarded an IS-BW and be known as the 'Hunter Squadron Ace' for that particular month Spectre Squadron NONE! - Please organize one for your pilots CM Shikie Butcher Squadron Butcher FCHG Race (competition ID #433) - Best FCHG in a month Stalker Squadron NONE! - TK! where have they all gone you usually have loads running?? XVIII Wing Comps XVIII Commanders Club (competition ID #452) - Basically a FCHG Gain Race for my commanders. IS SW for most FCHG Gain IS BW for second most FCHG gain Remember this is Commanders Only! Wing XVIII Banner Comp (competition ID #448) - Create the best banner yo be uploaded to the database. IS SR for the best banner IS BR for second best banner I will be the judge but if at any time you don't like the current banner, Tell Me we can work things like this out. SSD Avenger Comps April Foolery (competition ID #440) -This silly comp is to write words to ANY song from the StarWars movies, old or new. The crazier the better. Avenger Task Force Wide Comps Coms Judgement (competition ID #415) - For the Flying SP and MP portions the medals to be awarded are. 1st place-IS-GW 2nd place-IS-SW 3rd place-IS-BW For the JK and JKII MP portions. The correct DB medals shall be awarded. Also we are going to add two new sections to this COMP hence the reason for a new submission for the COMP. The new ones are going to be. Fiction, and Graphics. For these medals we shall award. 1st place-IS-GR 2nd place-IS-SR 3rd place-IS-BR - Website Here ATF Trivia (competition ID #429) - The Monthly Trivia competition run by me, here are the questions. -New Members, Medals and Promotions- Medals Palpatine Crescent (PC) - FM/LT Alex Aranda/Stalker 3-2/Wing XVIII/SSD Avenger (Note, please can you commanders send me March's MSE so I can award the medals accordingly) Promotions None Members None -Activity- 14 BSF's this week :) No IWATS No LoC's MAJ Xanatos Screed flew all the battles this month. -Final Thoughts- The Corps and especially the Avenger Task Force will be in for a tough time over the next few weeks, I want XVIII to remain strong and focused in this time of chaos. I want to see better activity also from a few of us. As said earlier things are going to change around here soon and thus be prepared for a shake up. Commanders, I will be mainly you shortly after you receive this to clarify a few things and work out the problems.
