SSD AVENGER

COM's OFFICE:

Hello Avenger, This is your new Com. Most of you already know me so I'll forgo all the introductions and such and I've already sent out an introductory mail. This is just the first report of many to come from me. A lot of changes and things have happened in the past couple weeks and I'll try touch base on most of the things going on in our fleet. I'd also like to take this time to say thank you for all the support you've given me this past week. We've gained a lot of headway and things can only get better from here.

NEWS:

1. We have a couple of new Channels due to the "civil war" which is taking place. Our new Battle Group Channel is #ATF while our new ship channel is #SSD_AVENGER . Please make sure to make those updates to your Chat program.

2. I've talked with Kirmacus about updating and fixing up the Avenger website. Those changes will be made shortly. I would like Everyone to They Kirm "Greyman" with helping us in this endeavor.

3. Several Squadrons have closed and played musical chairs. Some restructuring has occurred which needed to actually be done for some time. The Avenger has been low on personal for several months. So with the Personal shortage we have closed Stalker in XVIII and Chaos and Slayer in XIX. With this in mind I would like everyone to try and make a goal of bringing at least 1 new person to the ship. If everyone does that simple task we'll be able to re-open those squads in no time.

4. Also with the restructuring that leaves us with some command spots open. You can see TC.org for those and if you know any competent commanders get them to apply! Apps go to the respective WC and myself.

5. I know things were on shaky ground earlier with the DB separation, but that doesn't mean that we are laxed in our positions. if anything else that means we need to pick up the slack. Therefore I would just like to remind commanders to get their reports in on time. We will be starting the monthly tradition of Monthly evaluations, and trust me it will be reflected upon your record. (Good and Bad)

6. Just letting you all know I'm about to start a banner and motto competition. You can start work on it now even before the competition starts because I want to see some quality. More on that later.

7. Shike is working on an Avenger Escort Group thing, now I haven't gone over the specifics about it yet and talked about it with Khaen so I don't know if it'll have full approval yet, but from the beginning of it's description it sounds like fun. Talk to Shikie for details.

8. This month's CJ turnout has been pathetic, now I have almost 40 BSF's in my inbox from you guys so I know your flying... The medals in the CJ competition are for the taking at this point so GET TO WORK :-p.

10. I've been talking with the Gm and DGM about ways to get the Avenger more involved with the Dark Brotherhood. We are the Dark Brotherhood flagship and should have a closer relationship with the DB as such. If any of you have ideas feel free to float them by me. Also feel free to invite your DB friends into our channels to chill and have fun. We're all one fam.

SHIP STATUS:

The SSD Avenger sat docked in the shipyards of Aurora after Civil war Battle of Eos. There was significant damage done to the Super Star Destroyer. Most of it's obelisk had been killed or went with the separatists in the onboard battle, and the ship was momentarily commandeered. The remaining pieces of the ship were taken back to Aurora Prime and the SSD Avenger rebuilt. The new Avenger was stronger and better then ever with the most state of the art equipment the EH could offer. With much work done and the re-organization of the remaining pilots and wings. The Avenger was ready to embark on a new mission to patrol recaptured Brotherhood space. With the beginning Ground Battles Completed, the current status of the civil war would be fought in space. Luckily for the EH, they had retained most of the Sith for their side of the conflict and would have somewhat of an advantage until it came time to fight on the ground once again.
