Greetings Intrepid and on to this weeks report!!

LC Tissaya Argat's computer is once again operational, as most of you are by now aware, so that means that she now has full control over her duties once again. I appreciate the help of the CMDRs this past week in handling certain problems and issues while the WC was away, it kept a lot of extra work off my desk. ;)

My apologies for missing the TC Meeting earlier today. I had planned on attending, but by the time I got home from work I was totally exhausted and my wife persuaded me to go lay down. About 3 hours later my daughter was waking me up, so that pretty much killed that idea. :P

MP, MP, MP! That's right, the COM is on his MP kick again, and even more so since he'll now be the new Host for what used to be known as the Thursday Night Training! Now it will be known as the Intrepid Melee Night and will be held at the same time as usual. I hope to see more Int pilots joining in to fly and rack up those CR's. Remember, we have a monthly comp to award an IS-SW and IS-BW to the best MP pilots of the month. Lets show everyone why the best MP pilots serve on the Intrepid!!

CMDRs just a little reminder that your Squadrons are only going to grow and prosper if active recruiting takes place. :P

Week 4 has ended, and this past week we had a lot of submissions! I'll be verifying the files and the scores tonight, so be a bit more patient a while longer. Week 5 is underway, so that means fly the next Training Mission. New pilot file, and remember that it must be flown on Hard only! Pilot files must be submitted by 4/12/03! We're almost done with this competitions, but there's still a couple of chances left to win one of these shiny medals!!

A reminder that the Intrepid Top Gun Competition is running. Fly XvT-Free #139, which just happens to be named "Intrepid Top Gun Tournament" and submit the pilot files to me no later than 4/15/2003!

LC Argat has decided to appoint a Wing XO. Congratulations to CPT Phantom, CMDR of Krayt Squadron, on this great honor!!

I'd like to formally welcome back an old member of the Intrepid. This past week LCM Machinari has rejoined Copperhead after a lengthy stay in the Reserves. Welcome back Machinari, its great to see an old veteran back in our ranks!! :)

The FCHG and CR races for April are heating up already, so it's starting to look like LCM CrimsonFury will have some stiff competition this month. Remember, anyone can win these comps each month, it only takes an effort to put forward a little extra time to be active!

The WC has processed her MWE and submitted it to the COM today. I will go over it carefully since she warned me in advance that there would be a lot of information contained within it. I promise to get the MSE medals for March's activities pushed through as quickly as I can this week. CMDRs, if you have any last minute changes to your recommendations, you have until Monday night to submit them to the WC and I.

Congratulations to the following pilots on their recent promotions! LT CrimsonFury has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander and CM Tvan'Oris has been promoted to Captain! There are more promotions coming due in April, so it wouldn't hurt to mention that overall activity and involvement within the TC play a vital part in the considerations of how soon a promotion is requested. CF and Tvan, congrats on your new ranks!! :)

Vortex Squadron CMDR position is open for applications! Submit applications to RA Khadgar and MAJ Archon.

The TAC Office has released some new missions and battles, several for XvT. Looks like some of you have a few new missions to fly now! ;)

Lastly, some semi-important news that no one will probably care about, but apparently I was promoted to Vice Admiral today during the TC Meeting. Since it's been confirmed by the BGCOM, I'd like to announce that drinks are on my tab in the Wing XIV Cantina for the rest of the month! Although since I own the bar already it won't be much of a tab. (hehehe) Big thanks to the BGCOM and the crew of the Intrepid for allowing me the opportunity to serve as COM of the ISD-II Intrepid, this promotion was earned by us all!! Rock On Intrepid!!!!;)

Many congratulations go out to Rear Admiral Ranthier Khaen who has been selected as the new COM of the ISD Subjugator.

For now, applications for a new Wing XVIII WC are NOT being accepted so please don't send them.


Challenge COM Open To Applications

Following Mairin's removal from command applications are now being accepted for a new ISD Challenge COM. Applicants must be able to meet the following requirements:

- A successful tour as Squadron Commander & Wing Commander (in the TIE Corps) for no less than FOUR consecutive months for each position
- Intimate familiarity with all TC protocols and procedures
- No HCI convictions within the last two years
- Commitment to carry out the Commodore duties as detailed in the Training Manual
- You must also be able to look at long term plans for the Ship and the welfare of not only your Ship but also the Battlegroup and TIE Corps.

Applicants must have a quick email response time as well as being able to work with all levels of command, from regular Flight Members to the the Ship WC. Specific skills such as webpage design etc, are desirable. Applications should be sent to High Admiral Priyum and Vice Admiral Krax. The closing date for applications is 5th April and should have the subject "ChalCOM".

Theta Squadron Invitational

In the spirit of the NCAA basketball tournament, I am interested in holding a 64 squadron flying tournament for all squadrons who play TIE. It will be a six round elimination tournament. You fly a free mission, and the squadron with the highest average score, provided that at least four of your pilots fly it, will advance to the next round. My squadron will participate. If any CMDR is interested in having his squadron participate, please e-mail me at superjew@ncinternet.net. Remember, this is for TIE squadrons only. In the future, if this is successful, I will be doing one for the multiplayer squadrons. Hope to have you participating! :)

It is with the greatest of pleasures that I announce the formal alliance of the Emperor's Hammer and the Rebel Squadrons. As two of the largest, best run clubs on the net, we have long shared friendly relations together. However, all attempts in the past at formally allying our two organizations have been met with various problems. However, through the efforts of Rear Admiral Darknyte, Admiral Rahj Tharen, and Grand Admiral Ronin, we have successfully secured an alliance which will be the foundation upon which we will build many more venues.

What does this mean for the average EH or RS member? Not a lot, in some ways, for we have always and forever shared our mutual love of Star Wars and the desire to have fun. However, we now can stand officially together, allied in our common cause - the desire to live out a bit of that amazing universe of Star Wars. I look forward to seeing what the Emperor's Hammer will bring to our table in terms of competition, exchange of ideas, and friendship.

The Office of External Affairs will begin investigation into various competitions with the Emperor's Hammer. More details will be forthcoming.

Also, the Squadron with the highest percentage/ratio of participation will become the new COM Escort Squadron! Pilots, to your fighters!!

Viper Citation Monthly Competition - On the 31st, i will send out a list of battles needed to be completed for citations. Battles that need 1 person to fly= 1 point, 2 people to fly= 2 points, 3 people to fly =1 point. Even if people fly the battle, the amounts for points is locked in, so if someone flys a battle that needs 1 person, and we get the Cit, it can still be flown to make it even.

EH NL Incentive Comp - Miscellaneous information since the XO is having problems getting submissions for the EH NL, the BGCOM is launching this competition as an incentive.

Start Date: 2/9/2003

End Date: 2/9/2004

Parties Involved: Only applies to personnel from the ASF.

Missions/Battles Used: N/A

Medals to be Awarded: If someone gets an Image of the Month, he/she gets an IS-GR. If someone gets a 1st Runner up, he/she gets an IS-SR. If someone gets a 2nd Runner Up, he/she gets an IS-BR.


Intrepid Monthly FCHG Race Each month the COM will record the starting FCHG points of each pilot. At the end of the month the COM will record the ending FCHG points of each pilot, and then will declare the 1st and 2nd place winners. This will be a form of a ladder competition, so the more flight activity you have the better your chances to climb the ladder and win!

Missions/Battles Used: All authorized battles/missions on the EH Battle Center.

Medals to be Awarded: IS-SW to the pilot who gains the most FCHG points during each month. IS-BW to the second best pilot.


Intrepid Monthly CR Race! At the start of each month the COM will record the CR points of each pilot, and at the end of the month the COM will record the CR points of each pilot. The pilot with the most CR points gained will be the winner for that month! This will be like a MP ladder where the more MP activity you have the more likely your chances to win!
