COM's OFFICE:
Hello Challenge personal. This is my first report as
your Commodore. I have already laid out my introduction to you all and am
looking forward to our bright future with each other. I'm settling in
quite nicely and have enjoyed each of our member's company. Things have
already been quite busy which is actually a very good thing :-). News
to be weary of:
NEWS:
1. Our new official Channel has
changed to #Wing_X . Registration is almost finished and X should be
there soon.
2. I have gained access to the
Challenge site and added some updates... DA Mejas will be totally changing the
layout and I'll be updating and adding some features. Give a special
thanks to CoFo for letting us use his Challenge Domain.
3. LC Styles has been working on a
Battleboard for the wing. The Battleboard is almost complete. You
can mail him for details.
4. New Final Four Tournament
coming out. I think I forwarded the Ship about it however I've been
experiencing problems with our yahoo group so I don't know if you received
information on it.
5. Reminder of New report times
see Policy memorandum.
6. Previous Standing Orders to
be effective immediately also see Policy memorandum.
7. New Banner competition in
the works. I noticed the banner on TC.org was made by CoFo. As much
as I recognize CoFo for his work with the Challenge he was COM quite some time
ago and I think we need some new banners. I'll send out more information
on this competition when I get it approved by the Training office.
8. Congratz to Newly Appointed
Commander of Mu Squadron on the ISD Colossus Handril Madon. CM Madon has
transferred to the Colossus. Good luck commander!

Well that's all I can think about at
this point for news. I'm still settling in trying to meet each of you and
learn about you guys, what things the ship has been doing and so forth.
Stan has been quite helpful as WC and all of you have been really kewl.
The thing I guess I like most is everyone actually has personality and a sense
of humor. This is good. Well I'll see you all
soon.

SUBJECT: Challenge S.O.P. and Standing
Orders
1. Reference: COM/RA Charles Spencer/ISD
Challenge
2. Recently I RA
Charles Spencer have taken Command of the Imperial MkII Star Destroyer
Challenge. To help operations run smoothly I have outlined some Standard
Operating Procedures and will be enforcing the new Standing Orders that were
developed before my instatement.
3. Major changes in the
SOP are report times. Weekly Fl reports are to be done on Tuesdays
(if commanders have their FL's do reports which is the standing orders but I
will not enforce FL reports strictly it will be up to the Commander's
discretion) Commander reports are due Wed. WC reports Thurs.
Com reports Friday. If there is overbearing conflict with
Commander and other's schedules to this then the policy can be
changed, otherwise this will be the SOP from now on with weekly
reports. Also, standing Orders are now in effect. If you need a copy
of the Ship standing orders e-mail the Challenge Wing Commander or myself
and we can send you a copy. The Standing Orders basically include ship
positions, duties, and responsibilities from the Flight member on up to
the Commodore.
