CMDRs Rants- This last Week has seen a lot of things going on, we are waiting for a New WC to be announced and ASP Squadron just got a new CMDR. Congrats to Joey C the new CMDR of ASP. LC Tissaya Argat retired from active service and headed out her own way, we wish her all the best.
Now on to my weekly rant about activity. Well you should all know it by heart by now. Be active, that’s why we joined the TC right? I didn’t join to sit idly on a roster somewhere. I can but why would I do that? It seems like a waste to get this far and then do nothing. Ok enough of that, BE ACTIVE!!!

Miscellaneous Information When you were a kid, you looked up on the stars, dreaming about becoming a pilot.. to visit all planets in the universe. You wanted go up to the Stars.. Write a story about how did it happen that you became a pilot, what motivated you, or what made you to do it. Story about making the decision about joining the TieCorps.
Cobra Combat Patrol Project:
I am working on a squadron project of sorts. It will be a combination of Fiction, mission making and flying. We will be working on a Cobra battle centered on the current members of the unit. We will be working on it at least for a few weeks maybe longer depending on how it goes and how much stuff we can fit into it. More details will be following in a separate email.

Wing V

Applications are now being accepted for a new Wing V WC with the following requirements...
Must have held the position of Squadron Commander in the TIE Corps previously for no less than 4 consecutive months
Must have passed SM/2 or SM/3
Be able to reply to email and process BSFs within 24-48 hours
Send reports each week without fail
Must be able to handle significant amounts of admin work to keep the Wing running
Be able to motivate pilots and keep CMDRs working on improving their Squadrons
Must be able to create and run various competitions for the Wing
Applicants must be 100% dedicated to the Wing to see goals achieved and have the will to drive to that end
No serious HCI convictions in the last 12 months
A sincere sense of duty and loyalty to the SSSD Sovereign and a commiment to the participation in the activities of the Brotherhood of Sovereign Flag Officers
Strict adherence to the TC Standing Orders and Sovereign policy
Add you future plans for the Wing and what steps you would take to encourage recruitment, activity and keep things running smoothly.

Wing X WC Appointed

The Wing Commander for Wing X on the Challenge has been selected sooner than I expected. Many congratulations go out to Major Frey Gallandro. Frey had a very successful tour as Inferno Commander in X, and we're confident he'll continue this trend as WC. Congrats!
Wing Commander Resignations

Two WCs announced their resignations yesterday. Lieutenant Colonal Tissaya Argat retired as XIV WC, stating her reasons as unsolvable differences with a Command Officer. Colonel Frodo March has also resigned as WC of Wing V and stepped down to a Flight Member position in Krayt Squadron.
I'd just like to clarify that none of these resignations are to do with the recent DB events. Applications are not yet being accepted for either position. If they are then requirements will be posted here.
The battles situation

The download links to battles were disabled this week because one member of the defecting group of the Dark Brotherhood suggested downloading all our battles and using them for their own use. The links are now back online but you must login for them to appear. This is the protect the hard work of the TIE Corps' mission designers.

I have added a history page to the site. I am doing research to figure out who has been CMDR and about when. I am even trying to add accomplishments from each command tour to each CMDR. Feel free to add anything that you know of Cobra Squadron history.
Flight Three Flight Leader Position open-
Flight 3 needs a flight leader. The qualifications are as follows-
1. Needs to be active.
2. Email turn around of less than 24 hrs, 36 at the longest
3. Able to motivate pilots in the flight
4. Reports sent to Flight, CMDR and WC; COM and BGCOM optional
5. Be Active
