I’m submitting this just to satisfy my urge to make up for lost time, although I know it’s two weeks late. This week wasn’t productive at all, seeing as I’ve been busy with my senior exit project and database guy is apparently busy with something similar. He’s also addicted to some Camelot game, which seems enticing from the looks of it. He’s been out of communication for a good few weeks, though he says he’s been working on the database. I have to trust him, I suppose, though I’ve been looking elsewhere for assistance, including professional design artists. That’s right, I’m willing to spend money out of my own pocket for you chaps. Mind you, it’s my birthday money, so maybe it’ll guilt database guy into it. It’ll still require your patience, though I know you have been very patient already. If he doesn’t contact me within the week (the week I’m submitting this), I’ll e-mail him and ask him what’s up. Otherwise, we’ll probably have some temporary legislative set-up somewhere, although we don’t have the membership for it and a simply html site won’t bring in any either.

I think I’ve stated this before, but since we aren’t active right now, I don’t want you to even consider the Senate a functioning subgroup until the database is up. That way, we don’t have unnecessary stress and we don’t depress ourselves trying to contact inactive members. We’re starting over, and we’re in the stages of development right now. This structure will work, and it truly is the only plausible one ‘less the Senate be disbanded. I might introduce simple proposals to our active membership, just to get an idea of how it’ll work (but without the database). We’ll also get a head start on legislation that way. I’ve already been talking to future Senate leaders, including High Council members. Note that if I haven’t talked to you, that doesn’t preclude you from getting a position. It’s simply a matter of necessity, since I’ll immediately need several positions filled as soon as our database is up.
