:: News ::
Firstly, sorry for the late report, but I really needed a break from the computer this weekend. On to other things, though. The manual has been approved and will be online by tomorrow. As Orv mentioned on the MB, minos was down, hindering the site's relocation. Now we've found out that http://senate.minos.net belongs to Osan'gar, so he has to delete the account before we'll be able to use it. Either that or we'll use ehsenate.minos.net.

Dakkon has gotten Advanced Argumentation up on the IU site. You have to click the Basic Argumentation link and you'll see ARG/1 and ARG/2 on the console. Obviously, click ARG/2. I'm assuming it submits fine, but you might want to back your test up in case it doesn't, as it is a very hard exam. Surprisingly, I finished the Course notes for Investigative Physics even before I started the Senate Procedural exam. It seems rather odd releasing the former now, given that it'll probably be at the doctorate or masters level, but I'll finish the questions next weekend and see what the rest of the HC thinks.

The Senate Motto Competition ended last Tuesday, I believe. Unfortunately, none of your mottos were chosen. This isn't to say that the top three won't be rewarded, but the HC has agreed that none of them are very reflective of the Senate's ideals or interests. Some of them were military, bloodfest, murder, or war oriented. To the person who submitted those: I'm sorry, you're in the wrong subgroup. We don't make it our business to slaughter Rebel scum. The point is to be civilized, isn't it? Anyway, the winners are below. Oh, by the way, the Emperor's Hammer is not a Republic, so no mottos entailing that sort of thing were considered, sorry.

1st Place: No one [AS-PR]
2nd Place: Minister Blackblade, "Improving our Present, Protecting our Future" [AS-GR]
3rd Place: Senator Aurlien, "Serving the citizens of the Empire"[AS-SR]

They might seem a bit simple, but they're straight-forward and specific. Anyway, that's all for this week.
