This weekend has been hectic, mainly because I wanted to suck as much enjoyment out of it as possible. This nonsense with Mirei (see topic "Senate Core exam & curtousy" on the Senate MB) has been solved, and I hope to hear nothing of it in the future. On to other things, though.
Yes, I removed Drako from M:COMM. No, I didn't inform him. Yes, I had a chuckle. Yes, I'm quite pleased with myself. The justification of this is quite simple: Drako doesn't understand that the Senate isn't a real democracy. Moreover, he doesn't know that Ronin has absolute authority over the EH. Opinions are certainly wanted and needed, but you don't usurp a superior's judgement and threaten to resign if things don't go your way. Thus is the story of Drako.
CG continues work on the database, at least to my knowledge he has been. I think right now he's duplicating the same features Orv setup, because that's really all he can do. I ran into a bit of a snag with the Senate manual involving titles and planets, delaying its release until a few days. However, I believe it to be a great improvement (assuming the Systems Manual can be edited according to my changes). So, these features won't be incorporated into the database until the manual is released. How long that will take? I don't know; I'm quite ignorant when it comes to matters of PHP.

I'm still handeling all M:EDU duties until I can find a suitable replacement. Either that or I'm simply too fond of the position to let it go. Either way, I've been grading Core Exams and continuing work on the Doctorate portion of the IU. Plague messaged me yesterday, indicating that he'd be back sometime this week. I hope that at least Basic Argumentation will be uploaded to the IU site by that time.

"Another new Chancellor. Why am I not surprised. Oh well looks like this will keep on happening over and over. It is kind of sad that the senate can't keep a leader for more than one or two months.
I was talking to my good friend Starwind the other day and told him that, I read on one of the Senate posts that Orv was leaving and that the senate again will be looking for another senator. He just laughed. You see, Starwind had planned on coming back to the senate earlier, but I advised him not to at the last minute. I told him that it wouldn't be such good idea that he returned at that time.
However, Starwind has been hard at work, coming up with plans to make the senate better. For starters he wants to Chancellor and promises that he would keep his leadership role for more than two months.
Anyway, he is now unsure if he should return. For one thing he dosn't know how he would be recieved by the senate and if they would accept him back.
When ever he dose return to the senate I hope you listen to what he has to say and give him a chance."

I'm in need of someone who knows how to edit .chm files. I know Mejas knew how to create them, but unfortunately he left. I rather like the ability to put our manual into a little console program. We won't have to worry about the site going down, as it typically does.
