Greetings Intrepid, and welcome to a new report!!

My apologies for the lateness of this report, but the training schedule I've been running under for my new RL job has been chaotic to say the least. Fortunately I completed my training yesterday and in a few short hours will be heading over to the new store I'll be permanently working at to help unload the first truck with the fixtures and other equipment we'll need to put the store together over the next five weeks. Ah the burden of being in charge in RL as well. In the meantime my online presence will be relatively scarce most of this week because of the fact that we are getting slammed with nearly 60 trucks loaded with equipment and product starting on Tuesday, so I'll be extremely busy. However I will be making a point to check my email as often as I can, answer and handle any questions or problems, and continue to remind everyone about the SC and why it's so important that we WIN! ;)

This is the last full week of the SC, and so far the Mutt has a minor lead over us on the SC site. However, over the weekend the BGCOM made his final decision that ALL Battle Citations gained throughout the SC will count at the end, so ultimately those points will push us well over the top at the end of the SC and we'll be victorious! I want to give special thanks to the crews from Krayt and Diamondback Squadrons who have worked extremely hard during this SC and have shown what is expected of every Squadron during these competitions! ;)

The EH Operations Officer, FA Howlader, has officially retired and a new replacement has been reportedly found and will be announced very soon. In the meantime you can expect some temporary delays on getting any medals approved until the new OPS is in place and fully up to speed on his/her new duties.

On 1/25 I was going to announce the start of a mini-comp for the Intrepid, however there was some delay in getting the competition approved even though I had submitted a full week beforehand. In any case the comp is now approved and the details can be found in the Competitions section below. I will be modifying the start and end dates since the comp was approved late, and I hope to see some great and interesting submissions. :)

The EH Internet Office and the TIE Corps FO have agreed on some new standards for all webpages related to the TC. You can find more info below in the ASF/TC News section. I strongly urge every CMDR to ensure that you're sites are up to the new standards by the deadline. CPT Drako, you can expect an email from me later about getting the Int/W14 site completed and up to date with these standards as well. :P

New TC Homepage Standards

FA Priyum and I have devised new standards for all TIE Corps homepages in an attempt to raise the quality of TC sites. All sites are expected to comply with the standards within 2 weeks (by February 9). Officers whose sites do not comply within the allotted time face removal from their current position.

Intrepid Motto/Nick Comp - The ISD Intrepid is in need of a fresh and new Nickname and Motto. All Wing XIV Personnel are encouraged to help create a new Nick and Motto for our Ship. An IS-BR will be awarded for the member who submits the best Nickname. Another IS-BR will be awarded for the member who submits the best Motto. If by chance one person wins both categories then only one IS-BR will be awarded.

Start Date: 1/25/2003

End Date: 2/1/2003

Medals to be Awarded: IS-BR for Best Nick; IS-BR for Best Motto

Supplemental: Due to this competition being approved late the End Date has been extended until 2/3/2003!


Cobra Ace of the Month - This will last the entire month . At the end of each week I will see who's earned the most FCHG points for that week. #1) gets 4 points, #2)3 pts, #3)2 pts and #4)1 pt. After the month is complete all the points from each week will be totaled and the winner will receive an Iron Star-Bronze WINGS.

Viper Top Ace Comp, MP Part - All MP matches will count, #ehcoc, WoW, ORW2 or whatever. Every won match will count 2points, every tie 1.5 points, every loss 1 point. A DFC is worth 5 points. Only the matches in your profile count. If matches are awarded too late, they will count for the month in which they are awarded. Pilot with most points win. Start Date: 1/1/2003

Viper Top Ace Comp, SP Part - SP part: At the beginning of the month I will assign two battles. One must be flown till the middle of the month, the other will be accepted till the end(Ill say which should be flown till midmonth). Each pilot who submits the battle will get #missions-of-the-battle divided by 2(round up points, the one with the highest score will get #missions-of-the-battle points. If you get a battle-highscore you will get #missions multiplied with 1.5(rounded up) points. Pilot with most points win. Start Date: 1/1/2003

End Date: 1/31/2003
