1.24.2003 - CM Blade
This weeks activity has been lacking. I want to stress that any member of the squadron that does not contribute to the SC:V will be awol'd after the comp is over. These are not my orders but straight from the COM. I was here the last SC and RA Striker was the WC then and he did just that. The SC comp is our main test during the year, the reason we do the thing we do. I would hope that each of you would put the effort into this as you do other activities. I hope that you each put forth a little something before it's over. I do not want to lose anyone but I agree with the COM on this subject, any pilot not contrbuting to the squad is dead wood and will be awol'd as soon as SC:V is over, unless you contact me and give me an update on your current status. So far we have 4 pilots gaining points for the squadron. Nova Killer has been flying as many XVT battles as I can let him. I have been flying some TIE Battles and Kettch and Vess have been flying XWA and TIE battles too. I know that Haztix has had comp problems and Yun is doing the student thing at the moment just drop me a line to let me know whats going on. Submit at least one trivia question, a free mission, a small graphic, something so you contribute to the point total of the squadron. Ok enough about my ranting for this week, on to the news...
SC:V is going into it's last week and we need to put forth our best effortinto keeping the title of flagship of the ASF.
CM Blade- Flew TIE TC 190,198, flew 2 WOW matches, fixed comp so I am able to fly, CMDR duties
LT Haztix Vel- Report in please
CM Kettch- Iwats RT, FLA; completed XWA TC 24, XVT TC 12,13 Took over as A-CMDR while I was down last week.
LT Nova Killer- Flew XVT TC 7, XVT DB 1,2 helped me get back online and stay there.
CM Vessicant- Flew TIE TC 200
CM Yun- please rerport in
No new Transfers yet, we need to recruit some pilots badly. If you know anyone in the reserves or in RL who would like to join then point them in the general direction of here.
The Cobra Ace Comp is still going on until the end of the month. A update on scores is below at the end of this report. The Gunner comp has ended and the final results were-
CM Blade- 12 points
CM Kettch- 6 points
These were the only scores reported to me by members of the squadron. remember I only get emails for wins not participation. It was clearly stated in the rules to notify me if you flew in the time from 12/20/02 to 1/20/03. I will go back and look to see if there were any more matches that were not reported but I think the Gunner Comp goes back into the vault for now.
