Introduction

Greetings, following is a cumulative summary of all the activity done by Odin Squadron up to the third week of the Supremacy Competition 5. This is all the activity of the squadron so this will do as WSR also. Odins check your activity and mail in case anything is wrong or missing (also check your points). Keep in the mind the rules of the comp, and make sure you do your part!.

This is a great week. ISD-GW took the lead again as we're heading to last and final week. One last push guys!... I know we can make it. Get to your cockpit, photoshopt, paint, word anything. And add points to the GW!. Remember to submit your PLTs and keep in mind Yoda's email about citations!.

Let your need guide your behavior. Suppress only your ignorance and you may survive.

Squadron News

• Flight II Name and Motto comp: LCM Shai selected some battles for FLight 2 to fly. Best Score picks names and motto. Make sure you fly them or Shai will have ot pick one of his own, and maybe you won't like it!.
• 5 Citations came and went!!!: Yes 5 XvTTC Citations. Thanks to LT Starjammer ;). And they are gone thx to the f00l of your CMDR. I BSFed Yoda's PLTs as Starjammer's. Sorry guys. I already emailed the TAC, BGCOM, COM and WC about this. This report was triple checked so everything should be all right now. In any case Odin Squadron finally got one citation, XWATC 1, after LT Wessiri (new name soon) completed XWATC1. YAY US!.

Strategy and Tactics

I will try to describe some of the things we can do for SC V so we can maximize the activity of this last 2 weeks of comp. As you fly faster these days you might find yourself tired of doing so. If such thing happens switch to any other of the categories you are able to participate into the comp: GFX, Webhunt, Trivia, Fiction, Web, Ship Patches, Mission/Battle Design, etc.  I'll list&explain some of the things you could try:

• WebHunts: Each week they post a set of question into the SC V site. On the worse case it means 4 points for you and the squad and the ship. And the questions are easy.
• Trivia: Easy 50 points. Just use everything you know about Star Wars to make trivia questions. When you max 50 points you will gain no more. But you can still go for the medal ;).
• Fiction: 8 points on the best case. Very easy to win if you ask me. ;).
• GFX: Could be a little tricky, but it only takes to see what you made, and ask yourself "Do I like it?". If you do, most likely you got 8 points.
• Web Design: If you run a SW/EH related site, I think you should go for this category. Update the site and let the BGCOM decide. It is very related to the GFX section above ;).
• Ship Patches & Mission/Battle Design: If your are able to do any of these, do so. They give the most points for each submission.
• Citations: This might be the deciding category. If we all fly XvTTC battles starting from 1 and on, we might be deciding the whole comp!!!. When you fly a battle and don't want to refly it many times you could try using unlimited waves (XvT) or invinsible and unlimited weapons (XWA). Another thing is not to stay stuck in one battle. If you cant complete, try the next one of your selection. Sometimes it takes2 or 3 tries to start winning missions again, but once done that nothing can stop you.

The whole idea is keep the squadron making points for the comp. This helps you, the squad and the ship. It could earn you medals, promos and some other awards. For example, gaining Citations earns more points for team effort, but if you think you won't be flying the missions required to earn citations, you could make it up by doing the trivia, some GFXs or writing some fictions. It's up to you, but keep in mind this guideline.
