Age 9: Met the Dark Jedi apprentice Kil'Jae'Den in the mines of Kessel. Learned very basic Jedi skills over the next several years.
Age 15: Saw Kil'Jae'Den killed in a cave-in. Aquired a sharp metal sliver of unknown composition from a shattered support beam.
Age 17: Almost beat a prison guard to death. Was tortured for it.
Significant Events of Adulthood: Age 19: Escaped from Kessel in the confusion following Han Solo's breakout. Stabbed 2 guards, then stole an ore shuttle, using demolition charges to fake his own destruction.
Age 21: Got permanent employ as a pilot for an arms-dealing operation. Worked there for one year.
Age 22: Escaped from a botched deal with pirates. A panel in his shuttle exploded, destroying his left eye and forearm. Blind-jumped out, and has brought back to realspace by an Interdictor working with the ISD Vanguard.
