Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: When news of the Death Star II's destruction and the death of the Emperor reached Goose's homeworld several Rebel terrorist groups arose. The lowly Rebels thought that the end of the Empire was here and decided to terrorize the Imperial world of Garqi. One group of them bombed the shipyard that his parents both worked at. With nobody to turn to, Goose joined the Imperial Flight Academy set up on the planet.
A year afterward, Grand Admiral Thrawn visited Garqi. At this point of time, Goose had become the Commander of his own TIE Fighter squadron. He was also the youngest fighter pilot on the planet. Thrawn took notice of his abilities and decided to place him in command of one of his TIE Defender squadrons. Before making it official Thrawn made Goose go through with a rigorous test that would make sure he was worthy of such an honor. Goose passed the test with a remarkably high score.
Goose served Thrawn well. Under his command, there were only three pilots lost in his squad. When news of Thrawn's murder reach Goose, he was devastated. Rebels had killed his parents, and now they had killed Thrawn. His hatred toward Rebels grew even more. There was nothing good he could do in his current position, so he placed Flight II's Flight Leader in command of the squadron, took his TIE Defender, and left.
He decided to revisit his homeworld, and plotted a direct course to Garqi. According to his Nav Computer, the course to Garqi was clear. However, he and Garqi were both in the Outer Rim, and there's still lots of uncharted space. During his flight, he sudden heard a klaxon blare as the TIE-Defender suddenly reverted to realspace. The system he was in had a huge blue star at its center, and directly in front of him was a black planet. He didn't have any time to recognize anything else before the warning lights and sounds reached him. His heat shields were overloading because of the immense heat radiating from the star. The TIE Defender's hull status was decreasing because the heat was beginning to melt it. Certain spots on the inside of the hull seemed to bubble. His flightsuit was all that stood between him and the heat. If he stayed he wouldn't have lasted much longer. Swinging the fighter around in a 180, his lower left solar panel smashed into a rock. He quickly made a short, blind jump into hyperspace. When he reverted to realspace, he assessed the damages done to his ship. The shields were fried, along with his lasers, and his hull was at 43%. His subspace engines were at 74%, the hyperdrive was at 81%, and the maneuvering jets were at 39%. He checked his Nav Computer for a good system to go to. Before he could check it, he had to repair some minor damage done to it by the heat. The best planet he could find was Mylock IV. It was close and under Imperial rule. That was his new destination.
Upon reaching the system, he notified the officials at the spaceport about who he was and what his condition was. They replied with a clearing that he could land in and was near a spaceport. He headed in. During his decent, he kicked in the repulsor lift coils. The refused to come online. Next he flipped the switch for the retrorockets. The earsplitting scream filled his ears, but they coughed and died. The ground was getting close and there was no way for Goose to stop or slow down. Goose punched his eject button, but the hatch barely budged, and he slammed into it causing it to pop loose while he sunk into unconsciousness.
Goose came to in a bacta tank and was signaled to go up. They informed him that he had been in there for three weeks. He inquired as to what happened, and they told him. After the hatch popped loose he was thrown out of the cockpit and crashed separately from the TIE Defender. They had taken the wreckage to a bay that was locked in the nearby spaceport. Goose had sustained massive brain damage. Almost all it was fixed, but the part that wasn't possible to fix hindered his piloting skills.
A few days later he was set free of all of the medical droids and bacta tanks. He went to a nearby cantina to get a drink and figure out what he was going to do. At the cantina he met Horn who was, at the time, a general of the Emperor's Hammer. Horn was on leave and they soon became good friends. Goose told Horn, about his history, and what happened to his TIE Defender. Horn asked if he could look at the wreckage, so Goose took him to the bay it was locked up in. In the wreckage they found that the flight computer had survived with minimal damage. There was a chunk of rock fused to what we guessed to be the lower left solar panel. They took the flight computer to Horn's temporarily rented apartment.
What they found was amazing. The sun gave of more heat than any know star in the galaxy. The planet that was in front of Goose when he jumped in was made of an unknown substance and was solid to the core. From the readings of other planetary bodies, they guessed that they were all the same material. Goose made the suggestion that they examine the rock on his ship. They went back to the bay to chip of a piece. It was impossible to chip a piece off with any of the tools they had, and they ended up just cutting the piece of the solar panel off that it was attached to. The rock turned out to be more of a metal than an actual rock. The molecular structure was composed entirely of ionic bonds. When they measured the strength of these bonds and found them to be off of the charts. According to the data the material had an incredibly high melting point and was incredibly strong. Goose and Horn tried melting it and had no luck at all. Horn got so mad he shot it with his blaster. To their surprise there was no hole blown through it, not even a little dent. They stuck some probes on it and found that it absorbed the energy of the blaster shot and spread it throughout itself and gave off the energy as a low heat. They realized that this could be made into armor and hullplating that would be impenetrable by any laser. Working day and night for many days, they finally found a way to mold it. It was an extremely complicated process, but they could shape it into anything they wanted.
Horn told Goose to keep it secret and recruited him into the Emperor's Hammer. After a while Horn was made CMDR of Krayt Squadron and Goose transferred into it. Horn continued up the ladder until reaching Flight Officer. Goose worked up to Commander of Mantis Squadron on ISD Vanguard. With Horn having such power Goose realized something; Horn had the power to take the Vanguard into the unknown system, pick up some of the black rock, and get back. He told Horn this and all the squadrons onboard the Vanguard were given leave. Horn put a skeleton crew of trusted members onboard and Goose stayed. They had the coordinates on the flight computer that Horn had stored in a secret place plugged into the Vanguard's computer and set off.
Further analysis of the data had shown a small asteroid belt, which is what the Vanguard headed towards. Once there all energy that wasn't needed for tractor beams was put into the heat shields. The hangar bays were both empty and a small asteroid was put into the secondary bay. The entire mission didn't take long, but it was enough to overload the heat shields and scorch the hull. There was some minor damage to the Vanguard, but it only took two days to fix. The squadrons were restored to duty and all records of the Vanguard's mission were erased.
Over the next two months, Goose worked on constructing a TIE Defender from the asteroid. Before his father's death, Goose's dad had worked repairing and building ships. He had made Goose memorize everything so that he was able to take apart any ship and put it back together in his sleep. Once complete the TIE Defender looked awesome. Goose had engineered a small system that took any energy that was absorbed, such as from a laser blast, and fed it into the engines, particle shield, and lasers. The ray shields were removed because lasers were not able to damage the rock. To test it a piece of the asteroid had been shot with all of the Vanuard's turbolasers and nothing happened to it. So Goose knew that the TIE Defender was able to withstand even a turbolaser blast.
With Horn now kicked from the EH, the whereabouts of the TIE Defender, the left over asteroid, and the flight computer are classified, with only Horn and Goose knowing anything about their location.

Personal View of the Empire and EH: There is no order without the Empire. The galaxy needs a strong backbone. The Rebels have killed the three most important people to him and deserve eradication. He will never end his struggle until either they or he dies. The Emperor's Hammer's goal is to destroy the Rebels, unlike many warlords and so on that seek only to control the remnants of the Empire. In this way the Emperor's Hammer is the only true Empire left.
Reason for enlisting in the EH: I enlisted for two main reasons. The first being that I can bring revenge upon the Rebels for killing my family. The second is that my dream of flying was fulfilled in joining the TIE Corps. Not only that, but I can fly the most superior craft in the known galaxy.
Other Comments: Has an extraordinary memory. He can remember anything that he's experienced, seen, heard, said, etc.
