Due to RL commitments, Colonel Duncan Idaho has resigned as the Wing Commander of Wing XIV. As was announced yesterday, a new WC in already in place, Major Tissaya Argat.

Wing News

-First of all, I want to apologize for missing the meeting Saturday. My thanks go out to everyone that did show up and also to Mark for posting the log on the Immortal MB. I had a family emergency come up. Basically, my sister's husband (from now on he will be referred to as "The Village Idiot") managed to get himself sent to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. All you kiddies, learn from this. Alcohol in moderated amounts are fun, but too much can kill you.

-Activity is picking up. I would like to see more though. I want to make it a goal that for the month of December, we fly at least 1,00o missions as a ship. This will go along great with the comp that Maj Auto has started. (See below for details.)

-CMDRS, if you haven't sent in your MSE's already, please do so. If I don't have them to the BGCOM on time, he will eat me for lunch.

-An idea has been raised about a new type of comp based on one that is currently underway in the Dark Brotherhood. Basically, a murder mystery would be written and then sent to the squadrons. By the end of the week, each squadron would have to figure out the murderer. If you think that you would like to participate in something like this, email me and MAJ Auto so we can figure out how many players we would have.

-We need more recruits. To this effect, I am offering a bounty of an ISM on any NEW recruit you get onto the Immortal. They will have to transfer from the Reserves, or from the Daedalus Platform. (DO NOT SPAM DAEDALUS!) I would suggest hanging out in the Zone in the XWA and XvT rooms....

Ship News

-CPT Gutt's apparent mental breakdown has been attributed to a case of O.S.M.C. (Overactive Speach Motor Control). He has apparently talked so much that portions of his brain has started to shut down from overheating. The Doc has said that he will be back to normal in a day or two, but until then, he must wear a full facial mask to keep from talking.

-Security is reviewing tapes of the hangar deck. Apparently someone in an Assault Gunboat managed to back into one of Phantom Squadron's Tie Phantoms causing some major damage to one of the wings. The pilot kept his helmet on and ran from the view of the camera's, but Security feels confident that they will catch the right pilot.

-If anyone knows who misplaced Maj Auto's Barbie doll collection, please email him and let him know.

Competitions

-ECR phase 3 is getting close to start. Because of the holidays it will probably begin next Monday. We are still trying to decide on which missions are to be used.

-MAJ Auto has started a FCHG Race competition for the month of December. There is one small catch however. Only battles that are flown will be counted, not Free Missions. So, everyone get started and flood your Cmdr's inbox with .plt files!

-I'm currently compiling all the scores for the Top Gun competition for the month of November. I hope to have it done by tomorrow.

-The Top Gun competition will be continued this month. Basically, the pilot that wins the most MP matches will recieve an IS-SW. The runner-up will recieve an IS-BW. Also, you don't have to wait until official EH comps for this. You can set up your own quick skirmishes while on IRC and I will count those as well, as long as you send me the results of the win. Also, because the mailer system is down, IF YOU WON ANY EH SPONSORD MP MATCHES, EMAIL ME SO I CAN ADD THEM TO THE RECORD. I didn't get confirmation of any this month, but I know that many of you flew.

-The Immortal Tactical Scenario is due now. A decision will be made before Wednesday on the winner.
