I'm pleased to say that Artist/EH Honorary Commander Joe Corroney will be coming for an interview with the EH Membership on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at 1 PM EST. The nice thing about Mr. Corroney is that he lives in Columbus, Ohio, so there are no differences in Time Zones.
***Emperor's Hammer Movie***
So far, a lot of outlining has taken place. Basically, right now I'm trying to get a good idea on the characters I will need and where to put them. I'm not exactly sure when I'll begin writing the movie, but I hope to have something done before the end of the year. :)
***New Reconnaissance Competition***
I plan to start the 2nd Annual Halloween Banner Prank Competition. It will most likely run past Halloween and into November.

I just got off work at 6:30 am and I havent been to bed yet, so I'm going to make this short. Hope you dont mind :P
AD Zsinj says he's proceeding on the Convention Database, so we'll know how its going to turn out soon! (woo!)
The person who said something to me about getting ahold of James Earl Jones was basicly lying to me... they have been severly flogged.. So ive spent about 3 hours online at home and about 1-2 at work searching for *something* i can use to contact him with. I swear that guy lives under a rock!
I *might* repeat *might* have an email sent off to Hayden Christensen (sp?) next week. I have also been looking at conventions here in the states that he might be attending to see if I/we could contact him in person, which would be uber cool. And autograph AND a possible Honorary Member. I think that would work out nicely wouldn't you? ;P
I looked around on an offical fan site of Natilie Portman, but i couldnt find anything on that one where I could actually get an email to her or her actual "people". She's becoming reclusive too. Deffinatly see what I can do to change that :P
I had a small idea for the Recon Office. We arent exactly "seen" by the rank and file members of the EH. The Convention Database is one way of trying change that. Another idea I had that also might change it, is sorta like a picture contest. The idea being, EH members can send in pictures to the RO of conventions they have been to (recent or within the past year hopefully). We will limit them one entry per month and the winner gets.. ::thinks:: maybe a mention on the Domain news page for a day or so. ( I dont know how hard that is to change/update, so thats iffy) and maybe a small medal.. ISM or something like that. The whole basis of this is that our office can be a bit more exposed to everyone. I mean the other offices, like FO, SCO, SO, IO.. etc etc.. they all have thier functions and interact some way with the fleet, or the fleet must interact with them.. The RO is a bit different. We work outside the EH primarily, maybe with this and the Convention Database, we can star working inside the EH too.
Like I said, it was just an idea. I dont know if it would catch on with the members or not. My brain usually turns out a mostly-good idea atleast once per month, so there you go :P

ROA Loor is still on semi-leave. I highly doubt that he would be able to do much. I hope his exams are going well! :)
***Conventions Database***
ROA Zsinj reports that he hasn't been able to get much done with the database. He says he's beginning to get carpal tunnel. I've known people who had it, and it's no fun. I hope he gets it taken care of soon!
***World Fantasy Convention 2002***
This convention will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The date for the convention is October 31 - November 3, 2002. It looks like it will be a lot of fun! :)
***SW Convention in Hamburg / Germany***

It took some time for them to figure out, but finally the last bit of the puzzle, that is to become one of the largest SW conventions in Germany has found its place...literally... The organizers finally found a location.
What I know so far:
the website is http://www.sw-con.de/swcon (only good for getting some information on the stars or for getting a ticket, but not much more, I'm afraid.)
It will be from Nov 29th to Dec. 1st in Hamburg (don't believe the
website...it lies).
For all of you, who don't know, where that is: Hamburg is a city on a
backwater planet called "Earth" by its inhabitants. :)
It's a city with about 1.6 million inhabitants and...and several good
bars...in northern Germany and has a major (air)port with several
flights a day into the whole world... so getting there shouldn't be
much of a problem.
Staying there: Hamburg has two youth hostels and I'm still working
things out with them...
Price for the hostel will be at about 16.50 EUR a person and night.
the entrance fees for the SW Con are 50 EUR for one Day, 80 EUR for
two days and 120 for all three days of fun.

***Restructuring of the Imperial Survey Corps***
I'm going to begin reforming the ISC. It has become apparent that it is lagging. We are loosing members, and some of them are unable to remain interested. I'll be working with MAG Maaric in hopes of forming a new structure.
I'll be happy to hear anyone's suggestions about the restructuring. And all current ISC members are more than welcome to join the new ISC when it is commissioned. :)
